Invested Magic for Dawnguard

NEW UPDATE: 9/10/14
Stendarr's Aura support added
Work has started on Dragonborn support

An expansion to the wonderful Invested Magic mod by NineInchNall.
Make sure to grab it over here.

This mod modifies the three Cairn summons to use the Invested Magic system.
Should be combatable with any mods as long as they dont modify the Summon Boneman, Mistman, or Wrathman spells.
This mod should only be used with the base Invested Magic mod. This mod should be placed lower than NineInchNall's mod on the load order. I will not be held responsible for any glitches that happen if these two steps are not followed.

Special thanks to NineInchNall for all the help when making this mod.

Also available on the Nexus.[]

Feb 15th update:
-Increased Magicka investments to match NineInchNall's change.

No worries, was just wondering whether it was still in-progress. Priorities change; moving on is completely understandable. Good luck in the world!

a year on, I attempted to get it working a few times, but was mostly unable to remember how I actually made the mod. I spent like a week trying to relearn (also getting back into skyrim so I could actually go over to the dragonborn expansion area) before getting a full time job again and losing all my free time... that was like last july.

I can try to get back into it, but honestly, I havent even thought of skyrim for months

This is just an addon for NineInchNail's work, I would go to the original page and offer that to him. I dont need any part of the donation, he did a good 95% of the work, I just added a few things to it. here is the link to the original mod

Also i see it's been awhile and a new author is on the team, FeniAraneae i guess you two can split the donation?

Hello Out of Rock Puns. Ever since my first modded mage playthrough, Invested Magic has been my all-time favourite mod, and I'd like to help out with the Dragonborn patch, if you'll have me.

Over the past few months I have grown quite talented with understanding and modifying mods, and building esp patches that produce the effect desired through the use of tes5edit's Copy as Override function (to the point that the 161 plugins that make up my load order work together seamlessly, and without mod conflict related CTDs or errors).
I've been studying your mod and Invested Magic very intently lately, and have a decent understanding of how they function, and how I might go about adding the relevant effects and changes to other spells and magic effects.

I've sent you a friend request through Steam, if you want to talk further.

there is a few different mods called Better Vampires, the one I use works perfectly fine:

I will mess with it on my side, It appears to be working just fine here, try casting Dispell once to clear any effects you might have on yourself before casting?

Same thing here, I can use both the vampire and the werewolf perk trees without any crashing, not sure why it would do it for you.

Remember that the casting is only a few mana, but it will lower your Maximum Mana until the summoned creature is gone.

I just began using "Better Vampires" and I could not remember if it is compatible with your Mod from the last time I played...?
