@ep1c_g@m3r! whoops, I was missing the recipe for them. I just posted an update, you should be able to craft them now. soul trap bolts and arrows require the arcane blacksmith perk 1 firewood and 1 empty grand soul gem

wait seriously? oh come on! what perk do I have to have to craft the bolt version of these? I can craft the arrows no problem

@ep1c_g@m3r! Higher level enemies can resist spells like soul trap. you need to increase your conjuration skill. FYI sucsessfully shooting an enchated bolt or arrow will increase your magic as well as your archery skill

the enchanted soul gem bolts don't seem to work... I sneak shooted a bandit thug killing her in one shot and the game said she resisted it. does the effect have to be applied to a living target and then kill it?

Very nice work. Cheers

I love all the diamond mods, but one thing that would be super sweet is an automatic version of the diamond crossbow... Basically part crossbow part gatling gun.

can you improve the damage dealt by the gem crossbows? thay are too weak, not even close to vanilla crossbows.
garnet CB deals 9 damage, vanilla CB deals 19. it doesn't make sense, and it makes them useless, as they can't be efficient against strong foes.
it should be:
garnet: 18 damage
amethyst: 19 damage
Saphirre: 20
Ruby: 21
Emerald: 22
diamond: 23
this should make the CBs better, but not overpowered

to make enhaunced versions of the crossbows should be a good idea too.

@ubersmaug thanks, im fine without now because i tempered it to 608 and i think thats enough.
but thanks for responding! but i agree about wanting to make it realistic.

@SwiftFire1002 Absolutly. I keep things modest out of respect for the dlc crossbows and all the questing involved, and to avoid getting grief about making an op mod. Feel free to change the stats to your liking.
