Description
A great hero of the Companions lies dead before he could defeat his greatest quest, the slaying of the great giant, Barlok'Gosh. Take up the arms of Holfir Giant Slayer and travel dangerous roads and caves to find Barlok'Gosh and finish what he started.

---------
Features

- A brand new quest to follow in the footsteps of a legendary slayer of giants.

- New dungeons and outdoor areas to travel and fight through.

- Lore friendly and consistent with the style and themes of the rest of the game.

- Supporting lore delivered through in-game books.

- Wield the unique weapons and armor of Holfir Giant-Slayer.

- Fight the largest Giant skyrim has ever seen, Barlok'Gosh.

- Compatible with all Bethesda DLC. No Prerequisites.
---------

---------
Patch 1.4 Notes

- Fixed the facegen issue on NPCs.

- New title image.
---------

---------
Patch 1.3 Notes

- Fixed a Navmesh issue preventing followers leaving the giant's location by normal means.
---------

---------
Patch 1.2 Notes

- Improved the NavMesh to allow the Giant to attack the player on the bridge and to stop him attempting to run into areas too small for him.

- Followers should now follow you into Bodean's Path and to the giant's location.

- Slightly reduced the incoming giant damage modifier of Holfir's Plate armor, making the fight a little harder.

- Added a chest to the crashed cart by the pond, adding to the overall reward value of the quest.
---------

---------
Patch 1.1 Notes

- Fixed the issues with quest markers and log entries not showing, however, this will likely reset the quest's progress (but shouldn't get rid of quest items already obtained).

***If you have issues with this quest reset, you can use the console to 'SetStage' followed by the quest ID 'tos_TheBiggerTheyAreQST' followed by the stage numbers 10, 40 or 200. 200 is for quest completion)***
---------

---------
Notes

- The quest does not have to be started to be completed, if you stumble upon the locations/enemies on your own, you're free to complete it as you see fit (just like back in the days of TES III: Morrowind).

- The quest can be started normally by reading Of Holfir Giant Slayer, a book that can be found in Whiterun's general store, the Bard's College, and as random loot in dungeons.

Troubleshooting

"Conflicts", CTDs or missing objects
- If crashes or failure to load assets/areas repeatedly occur, it is usually caused by one of two things:

a) Skyrim's limited memory allocation for the use of .esp (mod) files means using a lot of mods (especially large ones) will eventually cause the game to run out of memory and cause issues during gameplay. The solution is simply to use less mods.

b) The .bsa is conflicting with another archive from a mod using the same scripts/assets or otherwise failing to access it's data will cause the game to CTD in the front end menus. Try changing the load order first as the issue can sometimes cause "incompatibilities" between mods that would otherwise work together. If it still won't work, then disable other mods one at a time until it does.

- Sometimes Steam Error 2 (A Network Timeout) occurs when downloading this mod. Something to do with the Steam servers hosting the mod.If this happens to you, manually instally this version from Skyrim Nexus: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=12026 (extract then copy/paste the files to Skyrim/Data)

- All my mods are fully compatible with Dawnguard.

It was an entertaining little quest. Unsubscribing though to free up mod space, but I do recommend this quest.

I found the burial monument on the north coast ages ago, and it's is extremely atmospheric (was night when I discovered it by chance, the aurora was overhead - lovely screenshots ). I tried to get through Bogdan's Passage but the bandits were too hard, so i left it for a later level. Just went through today and fought the Giant. Great mod, this. Short but very well made. Thanks v much. Didn't encounter any problems. I have 18 mods installed in total.

I had no problems nor glitches. The detail in the new areas are impressive and fits with the world like a glove. I recommend playing it on a harder difficulty, and let the giant have a chance to hit you, as there's plenty of places where you can hide, which of course is a good thing.

Great job, I enjoyed it, even though it's a short one.
