Playable Classes for Launch
Livestream – on!
Release date: 2015
Delver's Drop is a 2D Action RPG with fluid physics-based movement, snappy combat, shifting dungeons, and a rogue's gallery of individually leveled character classes. It features procedurally generated levels and puzzle permutations for infinite replay, a non-linear narrative, customizable character growth, and immense secrets to discover.

Single Player / Co-Op
  • Immense & Unpredictable Dungeon Dive — 9 zones of castle dungeons with 3 - 4 floors per zone to explore. Levels will be combined from masterfully designed hand-crafted rooms and components, with randomized content and floor layouts.

  • Physics-based Hack & Slash Combat — Since all characters and enemies move and collide on a physics-based system, any interplay of attacks, traps, and magic resolve based on responsive, snazzy, and sometimes chaotic physics effects.

  • Multiple Characters & Play Styles — Play the game with one or all of the 6 character classes (some to be decided by backers!). Classes have unique speed and movement properties, weapon, special ability, and perk tree, giving each a different play style.

  • Character Growth & Customization — Gain experience as you play each class, and keep this progress through the class’s perk tree even if your current character dies. Level up if you want more flexibility, but Delver’s Drop is totally grind-free.

  • Weapons & Sub-Items — The player can find and purchase interesting and upgraded weapons for each class, as well as a large suite of expendable sub-items that are randomly spawn during each session. But items slots are limited, requiring intelligent use!

  • Puzzles & Secrets — Like many action adventure games, Delver’s Drop will feature interesting puzzles, requiring clever manipulation of dungeon elements, using physics to advantage, and resourceful usage of secondary items.

  • Local Co-Op / Companion Mode — Want to transform into a wispy phantom or familiar? A second player can drop in/out of the campaign to help the main player when delving gets dire, by controlling one of a set of mystical pets to attack and impede enemies.

Local 4-Player Modes
  • Horde Mode — Fight side-by-side with your friends in gauntlet rooms against endless streams of enemies. Use teamwork, items, and even the physics of the arena itself to hold back the tide of monsters and baddies.

  • Deathmatch Mode — Battle in one of several specially-designed arenas using the environment to your advantage as you race to grab power-ups that will turn the tide of battle. Think Super Smash Bros. meets Zelda: Four Swords.

@Vasae: I remember looking at this game and waiting for it back pre 2010, I remember their site saying available for Win 2008 Q4 then they kept changing it 2009 Q2, 2010 Q1, etc... They eventually took the release date out. I'm not making this up I have been waiting for this game for almost a decade. I truly believe it will never come out. I feel sorry for all the people that pre bought and put money towards it. Pixelscopic has definately made my "red flag" list. Expect delays if you see this developer.

so the game is dead ? why even have greenlight if its just dead projects... thats what kickstarter is for
Vasae May 5 @ 2:34pm
@Nturner{CND} Then you should have seen their last kickstarter update was the 19th of February, not March 11th of last year. Here's a link

@NTuneR {CND} They haven't taken the money and run. Check their kickstarter updates for why the game has taken so long.

@Major Konig: It has absolutely not been 8 years since this game had a release schedule. I don't even know where you're getting that. Pixelscopic hasn't even existed for eight years. Check their Kickstarter updates if you want more information.

This is why I no longer fund these in development games. I feel like Pixelscopic gave us a playable demo, then took the money and ran. I still have hope they give us a product, but the lack of progress on this game is disturbing.

The most recent post I can find for these guys is from Mar 11 2015.

I remember seeing this game back in 2008ish and they had release dates changing all the time. It's 2016 now... 8 years really is this game Diablo 3 or GT5? Really is it going to take 10 years to complete? The dungeons are RND, what content could they be possibly working on... Sounds like some devs want some job security and for the game to never be finished. Very sad to all the people that pre bought this game on kickstarter. There's NO reason this game should take this long to come out.

The game just come to my mind.
• Steam Early Access (Beta) by fall / winter
• Release toward end of year, or early next

And again you didn't make it...
I was so hyped for this game(and I still am), but this is really dissapointing.

@Rachel Kitten - What Talaan99 said below. They also cross post all their things to their Sub-Reddit and do monthly Kickstarter Updates. Game is far from abandoned.
