Skyrim Overhaul: Guilds and followers

The purpose of this mod is to rebalance and alter many followers and guild members in the game with the intention of making them more unique and interesting, as well as being Lore friendly. As such some followers are more effective in combat than others.

The affected Npc's are from the college of winterhold, the companions, the dark brotherhood, the thieves guild, mercenaries and single quest followers. There have also been some members of guilds turned into followers.

This mod works well both on it's own, and with my other overhaul mods, factions and creatures, in my workshop, as these are balanced for that reason.

if any npc's are not wearing there items, just click on them in the console and enter "resetinventory". this has only happened to niruin so far, but its an easy and permant fix

What the mod does:

College of winterhold

All the teachers have been given a few more spells appropriate to what they do. For example Faralda has 1 master shock spell now, and like many of the mages, a boost to their magicka pool. Nirya also has a new face.


*note brelyna in vanilla already has the most perks of any follower, i didnt add much at all*

Brelyna Maryon: lvls from 6-67. +200 health & 275 magicka.Essential. Magic resistance rank 1, mage armor rank 1, atromancy rank 1, augmented flames rank 2, regeneration, recovery rank 1. *Also replaced her hair*
Jzargo: 6-60. +200 health & 75 magicka. +40% to 1 handed, regeneration. Protected
Onmund: 6-45, +100 health, 100 magicka & 100 stamina. +40% 1 handed.

The companions:

All warriors here have had stat boosts, and level increases. The inner circle all level to 55-60, and have the largest stat increases, and all have around 40-60% damage and armor increases, to make up for the terrible A.i for warrior followers in the vanilla game.

Farkas: is now essential. lvl up to 55, + 225 health & 175 stamina. + 80% 2 handed damage & 40% armor boost
Aela: is protected. lvls up to 64, +200 Health, & 400 stamina. + 60% 1hand, 40% boost to bow and light armor.
Vilkas: Lvls up to 60, +200 Health & 275 stamina. +80% heavy armor, +40% 2 handed +20% block
Athis:Lvls from 5-45. +125 health & 175 stamina. +40% to heavy armor and 1 handed *new face*
Njada: lvls from 5-47 +125 health & 275 stamina. +40& to light armor and 1 handed
Torvar:lvls from 5-32 +200 health. +40% light armor and 20% 1 handed
Ria: lvls from 5-45. +275 health. +100% 1 handed

Thieves guild:

As there are good mods for them anyways, Karliah and Brynolf has been untouched. the rest of the guild now vary from lvls 30-60, with appropriate perks and boosts to each unique character. with the leaders being the higest.

(Newly turned into) Followers:
Thrynn: lvls up to 50. +125 health & 225 stamina. + 60% light armor and +20% 1 handed
Niruin: lvls up to 45. +125 health & 225 stamina. + 60% ranged and +20% 1 handed (also avalible for marrige)
Garthar:lvls up to 35. +125 stamina. + 40% light armor and +20% 1 handed.

Mercer frey has also been given large increases to his perks and stats to be a far more challenging boss fight.

Dark brotherhood:

*due to the quests they are in there was a lot less work to be done*

These elite assassins have been given high damage boosts, and lvl up to 60. I have not touched the assassin followers you get at the end of the quest line. they will make for a better fight against or with.

Belrand: lvls up to 62. +125 health & 125 magicka and 50 stamina. Has the following magic perks:
augments frost, rocovery lvl1, regeneration, hack and slash lvl1, fighting stance and custom fit.
Jenassa lvls up to 62. +225 health & 225 stamina. + 60% light armor and +40% 1 handed +dual fury lvl1 and dual savegry
Vorstag: lvls up to 45. +75health & 75stamina. + 40% light armor and +40% 1 handed

Erandur: lvls up to 50. +125 health & 300 magicka. + rank 2 augmented flames. spells added+ fast healing and conjure flame atronouch.

This mod should be at the bottom of the load order, or at least after any other follower mod. it is compatible with UFO, or any other follower mod I have tried. But the new stats will never show in stat sheets in game, but they are in effect.
none I have found, but if you find any, such as the 3 face edits not working properly, let me know.
tomorrow I will be adding the technical changes list, and also updates for more new guild followers and marriage options.

i checked erandur with getav and he still has magicka at 50.. i dont think it worked. and resetting him did nothing. am i doing something wrong or do i need to start new game all together

will this still work if i use it after ive already met a follower. downloading this specificaly for earandur after ive done the quest for example

this mod is nice, but how do I get the followers in Thieves Guild with your mod? Do I need to finish the last quest in the main quest line to get them?

All of the faction overhauls should be in a collection, and this mod would probably conflict with Companions arise, which also overhauls the faction. Mainly in appearance and quests. But also the levels for all members.
