You see a city in the distance, so much activity, and know it's impossible for you to return to be a member of that. The cause isn't the world, it isn't the people: it is you. As you remorsefully depart, there is a warm voice: "I love you", soon falling into an echo of "loved". How time changes the tense as life transforms the man's stature.

"I don't need anyone when misery is company."

As the man walks into a moonlit forest - treeline dense ample oak trees blossoming into orange to Autumn's call - a blue leaf falls as he passes the step into this territory, cutting his cheek.

"No tears...", he utters to himself, as the man regains his stride, quipping as motivation: "I am not going to be still as those trees."

Genre: Survival Horror/Adventure

A fully immersive environment in which each 'ordinary' objective are interactive, symbolizing the man's psyche in effect. As he progresses, the scenery changes - closer to reality which he surrenders for tranquility through wandering happiness - and trees are no longer merely trees. At any time, the man may surrender for 'Ignorance is Bliss', which creates a portrait of the man in the world from where he was/is.

This will be trauma level, Destroyer, and the repression level that one needs to remain stable. Once it's exceeded, a manifestation of the protagonist's anti-self will appear and he'll ruthlessly stalk our little man. This is when a 'memory phase' is activated and one must disable specified elements of the environment to exorcise this manifestation.

There will be key revelations, nevertheless, that cause his appearance.
Go more in depth with the survival element of the game. I don't see how this is horror, but I would like to know more about the interactions the environment has with you and vice versa.

Undone, as every element will need interpretative potential for the storyline, it'll need a long time to craft, but I have explained the premise here. :) I am advertising this here as I /will/ need fellow writers and programmers!

Incidentally, although staff will receive their fair share of equity, mine will fully be donated to charity as I have everything I could need: love, culture, and leisure. ;)
