Description
Located on the bank of the Danube river in modern day Budapest, Buda Castle is a site formerly used by several different parties throughout its history, including as a palace and as a defensive castle. It has been destroyed several times since it was first constructed in the 15th century, most recently in the 1960's following significant damage during World War Two. It was also heavily damaged following the conquering of Buda by Christian forces, when an artillery shell struck part of the castle that was being used as a gunpowder store. Ingame, Buda Castle provides +2 of each yield in the Capital, while it must be built in a city next to a river and requires Architecture.

Requires the Gods & Kings expansion pack, and credit to Co-authors Sukritact for the icon and Chris Sifniotis for the Civilopedia

I hadn't thought of that, that could work. I'll update the ones that have to be updated to work first, then we'll see how it goes

Have you considered updating this to BNW and adding great artwork slots?
Buda Castle is now the home of the Hungarian National Gallery (Magyar Nemzeti Galeria). I think a set bonus requiring it be local artwork (maybe 1 slot, set bonus +2) would be appropriate. What do you think?

Yes, but that involves putting stuff in DLC folders and so on. This way the wonders are 'plug and play' and you don't need to mess around in files

I used the temple of heaven wonder which was 3D on civfanatics, it did not interfere with any dll mods or the others. I just made another folder in DLC and put it there

People have been able to add models if the wonder is manually added into the DLC folder, but that's horrible to do and isn't easy to install or publish, and it ruins compatibility

Yeah, I do. But only one DLL mod can be active at a time, and I'd like to keep these mods modular

wait do you mean the dll source code that was released in fall?

Because 3D building models can't be added to the game via mods without a DLL modification
