Terraformer Expedition to Mars 1.3
Release date: Early 2013
Earth is dying.

In a desperate effort to save humanity, all the nations of Earth pool their dwindling resources together one last time to construct and equip three space ships.

The mission: Terraform Mars and pave the way for human settlement of the planet.

Upon reaching Mars, all three ships are shot down by enemies unknown, crashing to the surface, leaving you, the captain and science officer of one of these ships, marooned on a hostile world.

Can you survive, explore and terraform the planet, ensuring the survival of the dying human race?

You are Earth's only hope.

Terraformer Expedition to Mars is a first/third person 'Hard Science' based 3D simulation of survival, exploration and terraforming set on the planet Mars.

The simulation unfolds in three parts:

•The first phase is to survive on Mars using only a few canisters of oxygen, hydrogen and water and the shattered remains of your initial space craft. You will use these and the resources of the planet itself to create your own light, heat, water, air and food.
•The second phase is exploration of the planet itself: where are the other ships? Who shot you down in the first place? You will do so in a beautiful and realistically rendered 3D environment complete with dynamic interactions of light, heat, day/night cycles, and Martian geology and volcanology.
•Third and most challengingly, you need to transform the lifeless, desolate and frozen wasteland into a new home for Mankind. You will do this from scratch, using constructed tools, machinery, and Earth born bacteria and plant life carefully nurtured and strategically placed. You will create a complete atmosphere, hydrosphere, and a complex biosphere - step by agonizing step - as you fight to stave off the cold, the hunger, and the loneliness of a world that will kill you without a thought, with no one to hear you scream.

Save Earth, terraform Mars.

Then whats going on; I write this 6 months after <{BA}>DRAGONART777 and I can't come to any other conclusion, site being down and no way for me to reliabely buy the game (it is early access meaning if I were to pay for it there is no guarantee for me to get even a demo version).

Not to mention last announcement was over a year ago...

I must say i was hoping to say congrats on the vtss forums, and was goint to ask a few questions, but it seems my forum application is still awaiting approval, and i have not seen any new posts since this gained greelight status ??

I love this concept! This is just the kind of game I would love playing. Only concerns I have are 1. Graphics (even the "new ones") don't look too hot, 2. Are there any sound effects other than the breathing? There was nothing but silence from the attacking aliens..., and 3. Multiplayer! I want to terraform co-op with friends!!!

This is exactly what I have been looking for in a game. It not only will be a challenge but it will also be intellectual which I think is a factor that a lot of games are missing.

We have improved the gameplay and graphics. Check out our new Demo at and our new video (Thanks Jason). Ready for a" yes" vote on STEAM Greenlight!
