Most Useful Commands And Tips For Easier Rankup

In this guide you can really teach a lot and get to better rank in CS:GO.
I will update this guide if i find more commands or useful tips.

This is my first ever guide,
So, if i said something wrong fell free to correct me in comments :)

How to use console

Go into OPTIONS and than Game Settings and find Enable Developer Console.





And open it with ¸

Startup Settings and Options

This command is for faster game entry, no videos of Valve and CS:GO.
Open Steam, go into library find CS:GO and right click. Go into properties and in General Tab find Set launch options and type "-novid".



If you dont want to get killed because you walk over a gun and timing is ♥♥♥♥ so you pick it up and get instant headshoted. You need this command to disable autopickup.
Go into Options and find Item Options and put no on Switch weapon on pickup.
Just like on picture.


In Options find Keyboard / Mouse and than Show Team Equipment.
This is for seeing what your teammates have and where they are.

Best commands

Type in console. If you want to delete it from key just type in console: unbind (key)

net_graph 1 /shows your fps and ping
fps_max 999 /sets your fps to max
Bind "-" "disconnect" /dont need to type it every time just press for disconnect
Bind "r" "+reload; r_cleardecals" /clear blood and bullets and reload
Bind "shift" "+speed;r_cleardecals" /clear blood and bullets and walk
Bind "ctrl" "+duck;r_cleardecals" /clear blood and bullets and crouch
Bind "c" "toggle cl_righthand 0 1" /change from right arm to left
Bind "m" "toggle voice_enable" /mute all
Bind "x" "use weapon_knife; use weapon_p250; use weapon_hkp2000; use weapon_glock; use weapon_tec9; use weapon_fiveseven; use weapon_deagle; drop" /fake flash by pistol
cl_disablefreezecam 1 /disable freeze cam when dead
r_drawtracers_firstperson "0"


Fell free to edit to your keys just change: Bind (key)

Sound

Sound is most important in CS:GO, this will help you a lot but if you have some old set of headphones or a low end sound card, sadly you need to get new one or a better one.

Type this in console.
snd_headphone_pan_exponent 2

I have 7.1 Surround Sound Headset but put it on Stereo its better.
And make the settings simular to mine. I prefer these.

Crosshair

I will put my Crosshair here but its probably best to make your own one.
Here is the map for making your own Crosshair.
Make sure to follow the autor and Rate up his work. The map owner is crashz
Just Subscibe the map and load it.

AutoBuy

This is just an easy binds for buying guns that you want.

This is all typed in console.
My Setup is:

Bind F1 "buy ak47; buy m4a1"
Bind F2 "buy deagle"
Bind F3 "buy vesthelm"
Bind F4 "buy flashbang; buy smokegrenade; buy hegrenade; buy flashbang"

If you want to delete the bind, type in console: unbind (key)
Also if you want to change the key just change F1, F2, F3, F4 in my command.

Just like this:
Bind J "buy ak47; buy m4a1"

And this is the list for all buy items so you can modify it for yourself.

Radar

Just type it in console.

cl_radar_always_centered "0"
cl_radar_scale "0.3"
cl_hud_radar_scale "1.1"
cl_radar_icon_scale_min "1"
cl_radar_rotate "1"

You can edit this how you like it. I prefer this settings.

Viewmodel

Just type it in console. And make whats best for you i prefer this:

viewmodel_fov 85
viewmodel_offset_x 3
viewmodel_offset_y 3
viewmodel_offset_z -3
cl_bob_lower_amt 10

Network Settings

Just type it in console.

rate "128000"
cl_cmdrate "128"
cl_updaterate "128"

This will help you with gameplay lags. For me its very useful.

Smoke Practice

When you load up the map just type this in console for easy smoke practice:

Also here are bind keys for no clip and give granades etc.

Bind "K" "noclip"
Bind "L" "give weapon_hegrenade;give weapon_flashbang;give weapon_smokegrenade;give weapon_molotov"

For unbind just type in console: unbind (key)
And for changing the button for bind just type: Bind (key) "give.."

Practice maps (Spray control, Aim)
