The point of the game is to destroy your enemies castle!
You send units to do so and build towers to prevent them destroying your castle.
The Arrow takes their health. It has a range of 2-3. The Cannon takes their armor. Range=3-4. The tesla takes their shields. Range=2-3. The catapult is used to hit enemies in a large range. The fan is used only at the front of the map to slow their initial advance. Remember when placing fan that you are often MUCH better served by spending the larger amount on upgrades to other towers.
The other towers are rarely used in the 1v1 and up game.
2 of a tower is more beneficial than 1 level 2 except the catapult. (increased damage area) and tesla (more units faster)
The idea of your maze should be 2 fold.... Kill them ASAP Built with the least amount of money possible to eliminate the wave (NO LEAKING) Designed to make clusters of the most upgraded towers get maximum "face time"
This means you will design loops that allow clusters of towers to get exposure to the enemy path multiple times.
Think about several waves after this one- where can you build/upgrade that will hit multiple times. Just watch any experienced opponent and it will be obvious where these key spots are on each map. However you will not be able to mimic an opponent who is better since your troops wont make it as far in each launch. Also you should never use zoombots when you are starting the game. zooms only work in rare circumstances-such as against new players :( When you get better you will never have zoombots used against you since they are so easy to counter (cannons).
This means that most new players think the way to win is to use zoombots since better players use them on them. This is a catch-22 in the learning curve. Use knights until you reach situations like end-game or a weak cannon defense and peptos in the field.
DEFENSE- Since the focus is always on making towers that have maximum "face-time" while still remembering that 2 towers>1 upgraded we make mazes that are as efficient as possible so we can send as often as possible and gain bp and upgrades that will allow our offense to dominate their defense.
Offense and defense go hand in hand since they are so linked. When you deny bp you need to spend less on defense since they gain less upgrades. When you spend less on defense you are able to send more often. This is how you WIN!
Good players spend the MINIMUM funds on towers to deny bp :) Just like real life make sure to spend WISELY!
OFFENSE: The idea is to send relentlessly till you break through their defenses. Try to send at 0 seconds every time. Look at the enemy towers (too many cannons/arrows/teslas will allow you to upgrade for maximum effectiveness) If they have too many cannons and few arrows upgrade health etc...
After the first wave of knights you want to do 3 things.... upgrade knights to level 3 upgrade bp generation to 3/3 upgrade speed to 3/3 IN THAT ORDER OF IMPORTANCE -Note the speed and bp gen. can be upgraded in tandem too -Note these 2 should be upgraded while your troops are out.
Next upgrade queue size and get bonus troops because the goal is max bp generation :)
Finale: mix in T3 units to complement your waves and destroy their defense. Choose based on their weakness and get multiple T3 units.
