Description
Beldurra takes the survivors through three new maps, traversing the already-ruined city of Beldurra. They must fight their way to a river-side salvage yard to escape. Features multiple/alternate routes, new game mechanics (like building pipe bombs and molotovs), original textures and an original end-credits score.

Special thanks to: NowOrTrevor, Borkjop, Chainsaws Ahoy and Sean for playtesting and input, and Valve Software for making the development tools available for this fantastic game.

Very good Campaign! The level design was awesome and very detailed, the action was good, but the finale was a bit too challenging.... due to bots glitching out, and it was kinda hard to figure out what to do... I will say there was very nice little details.... like making your own molotovs/pipebombs, and other things you need to find out yourselves, overall, i really enjoyed this campaign, thanks for a good time, Mashed torpedoes (creator)

@Stuck In a BreadBox - Thanks! I love hearing people are actually "deep exploring"! (And truly, if you liked these, I strongly encourage checking out Beldurra 2 as well - it's hidden details all the way through! :) www.beldurra2.com leads directly to its page in the Workshop here. For best results, set to Easy and disable auto-run. It shifts the game heavily to an arcade shooting gallery style this way).

Thank you for your considered response. The Blood Harvest safe house is in fact one of the worst events of this type I have observed. I had not appreciated that these decisions were the work of the Game Director. Thank you for educating me. It seems he? is as dumb as the bots.

Yes, I will try Beldura 2, and yes, I would like a download link for the original version.

Your attitude speaks well of you, and it is not so common here as it ought be. Keep mapping: you have a number of original ideas in these maps. I don't review many games here. I am glad there are folks like this community that will make this effort for love of the game.

@Wandering - I still have the previous version, but it's even buggier (to the tune of hundreds of fixes). Shout if you'd like it/them and I'll toss it up for ya.

Re: spawn points - these are handled by the Director; there's sadly little input regarding where zombies originate, leading to this kind of spawn behavior (the same can be observed in Blood Harvest's train car crescendo, where zeds pour out of the saferoom, even if in plain view). The only other option I'm aware of is to go through, marking each NAV (of which there can be thousands) specifically with a flag or three. Not justifying it btw - just 'splaining :)

Separately, consider giving Beldurra 2 a try! It builds on everything I learned authoring this (my first ever) campaign, and adds in a tremendous amount of new areas and material.

I much prefer the earlier version I got from the other site. Except for the excessive wait near the clock for the truck to crash, and the miserable bot navigation at the finale, it was a fine series of maps. The first half of this was little changed, thank you, but the remainder made little sense, and was very confined. Still you are to be praised for both efforts. Two bad I can't get the old map. Clearly a lot of work went into these changes, but little thought to the spawn points, so that too often they spawn in sight. Zombies have to come from somewhere, they cannot just appear, even if the game logic lets you do that. I hope to see you make another map sometime. Good luck.

Cool map except the bots suck when you get stuck playing alone.
