[ACHIEVEMENT/IDLE] Botbox RC2

Description
Before you continue on with analyzing this map, please note this. This is a map I made awhile ago for a friend, and it is personally my favourite map I have ever created. It's not a map I expect to be in the game, or one I expect to be viewed as a masterpiece by any means. It has some bugs, it has some odd geometry... but I still love this map, and I am mostly uploading this so I can showcase it on my profile page. However, please consider downloading it and giving it a look. I put some work into this map to try and make it a fun experience for all sorts of TF2 players. I wanted to make sure this map could be used in all sorts of situations.

The description below is from the original GameBanana post I made when the map first released a year or so ago.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A bit of polish can make old, new again!

Hello everyone! My name is iSlime, and I present you with the brand new recreation/re-imagining of Achievement_Idle_Botbox!

For quite a few years now I have been friends with Botkiller (the original creator of Botbox) and have been moderating his server for quite a long time. In our many conversations, we would occasionally discuss the map itself (as it was our main map for the server) and he always told me how he would change multiple things in the map if given the chance. Unfortunately he no longer had the .vmf files for the original B1 version of the map.

At the time, I was not making maps. I was very much into the gameplay side of TF2, and was playing the game like most of you. However, as time went on... and Valve started making worse and worse content in their updates, I decided I wanted to start making content myself. I have made several maps, 2 of which are currently released at the moment:

Anyways, in the process of making maps, I had finished my map koth_wartown I thought of botbox for some reason. And I remembered those talks about the map.

So, I decided for my next task to remake Botbox from scratch (other than the idle map template) and add in everything that Bot, Howl (another friend of mine), and I wanted. This is the product for the time being.

With all of that backstory out of the way, let's talk about the map and all the new additions versus Botbox B1 ( which can be found here: https://gamebanana.com/maps/146810 )

Firstly, we now have spawn doors which will prevent teams from camping the other team. There is also an improved conveyor system with less glitchy push triggers and faster speeds. There is also a way up from the conveyor which was not previously present. In this new room attached to the conveyor is a secret door back into the main spawn rooms and a conveyor that brings you to the opposing teams spawn. (there is also a secret entrance to the party room) Oh yeah there is a party room now. The top area now has been scaled differently and has been given a second level. This second level also includes drops down to the conveyor rooms. Lastly, we have a slight adjustment of ramps leading to other rooms to prevent additional camping.

More may be added in the future, and I hope that you enjoy the map!

Also, if you turn on "sv_allow_point_servercommand always" bots will be auto added to the map.

*EDIT: Forgot to mention, turning on this command will turn on cheats which will prevent achievements. Bots are only optional, simply leave this command off and they will not spawn.

To do harmless bots, you can simply either use the command 'god' or find a way to disable their thinking.

can keep achievements active by doing sv_cheats 1; sv_allow_point_servercommand always; sv_cheats 0 or add rcon before each command or add tf_bot_quota # to have a limit of players. rcon is only needed for remote server which is not running local and you will need the password for the server.

easy to copy ones:
sv_cheats 1; sv_allow_point_servercommand always; sv_cheats 0
rcon sv_cheats 1; rcon sv_allow_point_servercommand always; rcon sv_cheats 0
sv_cheats 1; tf_bot_quota 12; sv_cheats 0
rcon sv_cheats 1; rcon tf_bot_quota 12; rcon sv_cheats 0
