Description
Don't you hate how that once-amazing enchantment just won't come off your best looking gear?

Hi, SirReality here for Dwemer Detergent*, the enchantment remover specialist. Never again hesitate to enchant your items for fear of future obsoletion! SImply add your items into the Enchantment Cleanser, push the button, and the machine will take care of the rest!

*Note:We are legally required to inform you that Dwemer Detergent is actually just Dwarven Oil.

==Details==

This mod adds a chest in Dragonsreach next to the Enchanter. Simply put in your enchanted items, press the button, and voila! - clean unenchanted gear, ready for enchanting anew!

*Please note the Dwemer Detergent quite strong and will scour improvements and fingerprints off any potentially magic items.

I've had to add every single possible enchanted item by hand, so there might be a few items missing, or some items which don't improve/reenchant properly post-cleansing. if you find any, please let me know so I can fix it!

WHAT THIS DOES
  • Supports Dawnguard via Patch
  • Supports Dragonborn via Patch
  • cleanses player-enchanted items
  • cleanses pre-enchanted items (which have a mundane counterpart)
  • cleanses Artifacts, including: Daedric Artifacts & Dragon Priest Masks
  • cleanses Thieves Guild Armor
  • Cleanses Nightingale Equipment
  • Cleanses Dark Brotherhood Shrouded Armor
  • Cleanses all Mage Robes including the Archmage Robes
  • Cleanses Necromancer and Thalmor Robes
  • Cleanses Thalmor Robes
  • Cleanses Amulets of the Divines
  • Cleanses Dragon Priest Masks (breaks display stands, working on fixing)

What it does NOT do
  • Cleanse Hearthfire items
  • Cleanse any items added by another mod - you need to request it in the discussion section!
  • Preserve smithing improvements or fingerprints - the Dwemer Detergent is TOO STRONG
  • Allow you to place the cleansed enchantment onto another item
  • Cleanse staves
  • Allow you to learn the enchantment

Priorities for next update (as decided by you!)
  • Add a portable version
  • Add in any items I missed as requested
  • Bugfix any issues that come up
  • Fix Dragon Priest Bust functionality

Also available on the nexus, though usually a bit outdated.[skyrim.nexusmods.com]

Can you make a patch for the left handed rings mod? Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92557715

Does this clean "Falmerblood" stains? Incidentally that elixir tasted like simple wheat and blisterwort...

Do you think its possible to put this on the SE of skyrim on the bethesda mod page? I cant find any enchantment removal mods on it and yours is the best one ive seen since it hasn't ever crashed the game for me.

@RustedCutlass717: You need to request it above in the feature requests most likely, as all items are added to the mod manually.

@Pug-Z: You can try requesting it above in feature requests. Most likely though, your best bet would be to check through Nexus and Curse sites. Chances are, a mod as you are seeking, is most likely already created somewhere.

I wonder if I can disenchant the Memodermic Greatsword from Wheels of Lull using this..... It's enchant is not too useful for a two-hander.

everything worked for me except for a few items with peerless enchanting on them such as the necklace and roes sofar

it worked great for me except the process is so long ang lags my game. i was able to revert the enchantments off my old daedric weapons and reuse them until i start making dragonbone stuff
