Communitas Expansion Pack
4 items
Description
We believe Civilization is a fantastic game, and aim to perfect it while remaining as close to the core experience as possible. We think games should be intuitive to learn, challenging to master, and rewards should match the difficulty to complete tasks. We also believe in finding balanced middle ground between extremes. We set a high bar for adding new things to the game, and attempt to first improve or replace existing objects when possible.

If you believe in these goals, try this expansion pack!

Requires: Communitas AI and Tools (Cat)

Expansion Pack Parts:
  • Communitas Map
This map creates several continents with realistic climate, and numerous offshore islands.

  • Communitas AI and Tools (Cat)
Expands the AI and mod tools of Civ V: Brave New World. Both the enhanced gameplay and interface changes below require the tools.

  • Communitas Enhanced Gameplay (Ceg)
Improves the fun and strategic balance of BNW gameplay.

  • Communitas Interface (Cin)
Improves the visual interface of the game.

Getting Help
Updates and support for the Communitas mods via Steam are non-existent, as the account belongs to Thalassicus who is otherwise engaged at the moment.
However, at both the CivFanatics[forums.civfanatics.com] forum and in the GitHub[github.com] repository you will find updates and support.

I rarely (read never) come to the Steam forum and your comments will be missed.
The CivFanatics forum is very active and many users frequent it. If you have any problems you will find a solution there.

Happy civving

you guys murdered the tech tree and renamed everything so now it may be balanced but i have no idea what anything is or what i'm going for and the ai automatically does, its like the opposite of the original problem, not to mention the wonders and benefits no longer make sense for the techs. and barbs spawn op units forcing mil spec early game. the smart ai and interface upgrades are great though.

This looks extensive. Going to have to check it out.

Barbarian camps can spawn pirate ships in the ancient era that shoot 2 tiles away for 37 damage. Kinda dumb. But it's a great mod if you turn barbarians off.

Do you know if the Smart AI mod overwrites this or vice versa if I both installed? I assume both kind of do the same thing.

Out of curiosity, why are lancers ranged units?

Really think what I see when I click on "Features" above should list features in sort of bullet point format and list what is added or changed. As it were the page that does load is way too general. Need be more specific.
