Corfe Castle (2v1) (1v1) Kingmaker

This map represents Corfe Castle in Dorset and its surrounds during the War of Steven and Matilda in the year 1139.

I've tried to set it up so this monstrous castle can actually work for multiplayer for a 2v1 scenario where two players take to sieging the castle from the South and North-West and another has to defend it. I've also tried to represent the scarcity of Iron and Building Stone in the nearby area by putting them in separate estates, but still being playable.

Forces of King Stephen have built a small Counter-Castle in the Motte and Bailey form to the south-west of Corfe and are preparing to take the castle from its garrison who are loyal to the Queen Matilda. In reality the castle survived the siege, can you defeat it?

The Castle was further extended by King John adding the Outer Bailey in the map in the Early Thirteenth Century. So, if you want the proper thing as sieged in 1139 I may do that in a siege mode version.

As for the later history, eventually the castle passed out of Royal hands when it was sold by Elizabeth I and came into the ownership of Sir John Bankes, Attorney General to Charles I. Whilst Sir Bankes was serving with the King in Oxfordshire, during the English Civil War, the Castle was under the defence of his wife Lady Mary Bankes. During this time it came under siege twice by the Parliamentarians. The second time they took it by disguising a Parliamentarian force as Royalists and were allowed into the castle. Afterwards the castle was slighted and stands today as an amazing ruin having been blown to smithereens with barrels of gunpowder... seriously go see it.

At some later point I may create a siege scenario as that's probably the best way to play this...
