- to spawn 100: player.placeatme a91a0 100
...but you can spawn whatever number you want. Just be careful not to stand too close if you spawn more than 5 or so!
BTW If you have any mods that create multiple types of chickens (eg. MyChickens), those chickens will never be explosive (believe me, I've tried, maybe the author can suggest something?), because only the 'regular' chickens can be made to blow up.
If you aren't using ASIS, my advice would be to keep lowering EC on the mod order. At some point, it should become low enough in the mod order that it should 'overwrite' whatever it is that is interfering with the properties of chickens.

BTW Please keep track of your changes, because it is possible that you may create new conflicts.
