This is the Final message update I am leaving on here. If you have any issues with the mod or compatibility leave a comment I will try to help you. Im trying to gauge which mods are incompatible with this mod right now, its been 2 years since Ive worked on it and honestly I probably wont update this mod unless it needs it due to it being to my exact liking. I appreciate ALL of the support from the members who have downloaded and contributed to improving my mod :)

I will be updating the compatible list when I get more information from users as I dont play skyrim anymore.

Non-Compatible Mods:

Hey everyone! Just an Update, IM trying to make Mod of the Month on the Nexus site, so if you like the mod if you could please go to this link:

TO EVERYONE HAVING ISSUE WITH GRASS SHADING here is a fix I believe will work

Go into your SkyrimPrefs.ini

Located in

and find the [Grass] section of the prefs.ini and put this at the bottom of it

This is a Review by someone on the Nexus, Thought it was nice to Ill put it up here

"I hardly ever leave comments but, I love this mod. This is the first grass mod I've installed that affects my gameplay... sneaking through the grass never felt so rewarding.

Really, that's the whole beauty of this mod to me, you just wanna disappear into a field or a large patch of grass off the side of the road and violently murder passers-by, dragging their corpses into the flowers and weeds so that they completely disappear.

I used this on top of the Lush Grass mod and I haven't run into any weirdness or problems so far.

Anyway, awesome mod. More than just a graphical enhancement, it's a gameplay improvement!"

If you have any problems with the steam version you can go to this link to the Nexus Site

You should go there anyways to give me endorsements :P (Sweet Beautiful Delicious Endorsements)

Dense Grass by- Chewiemuse

Compatible with Every Grass mod

I only recommend using this mod if you have a high end PC or dont care about the Risk of loosing about 10-20 FPS

To fix the Distance it renders you need to go into your SkyrimPrefs.ini (MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP) and change fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance= to 14000.0000, this will render the grass as far is it can in a Stable fashion.

Very simple to install

Install Instructions:

Either just upload through the Nexus mod client

Or Move Dense Grass ESP to your Skyrim/Data Directory

Or check box ESP if downloaded from Steam

Anyone can edit this mod or use it in their compilation, I dont mind you dont need to ask.

It does excactly what lush does in my own way so itd be redundant to have both running at the same time, they may even canel themselves out

Next you need to make sure you dont have any incompatible mods, that would cancel out the grass effect. The new um whatcha macall it mod lol. I think its called the foliage overhaul or something. Its the one everyone uses, starts with an F. My mod used to be compatible with it until the maker of that mod redid the meshes he used and got a little more deep into modding skyrim than just replacing a little bit of things. Next make sure any other foliage/grass mods are not interfering with the mod. What you need to do is yes a little bit of work but it will help me out to figure out which mod isnt compatible. I need you to just untick everything that would effect the grass or trees and load your game up with just my mod active. Then if that works start one by one checking the other mods in the load list that you unchecked and run the game after check one and so on. then when the visuals cease to show for my mod you will know excactly the mod that is effecting the grass.
