Tips to get out of silver

There are many guides to get out of silver and into gold nova but they can sometimes be very long and boring and not straight to the point unlike this guide

Basic Buying

There are many different guns, nades and equipment to buy in CS:GO but i'm just gonna get to the point and say a lot of the stuff you shouldn't use, guns like the auto sniper(s), aug, sg, dualies, mp9, mp7, pp-bizon, negev, m249, sawed off, galil ar, zues 2x and decoys are all things that you don't need to learn how to use efficiently. The galil ar could be used but not recommended a pistol could do better, the zues 2x for funny kills and decoys are rubbish in higher ranks
Things such as the ak-47, m4a1-s, m4a4, famas, glock-18, usp-s, p250, desert eagle, tec-9, awp, scout, ump-45, cz, five seven, HE grenade, smoke, flash and molotov/incendinary are all things that should be learned how to use good and effectivly so that when you get into higher ranks you don't get totally destroyed Guns such as these mac-10, nova, xm1014, mag-7 have certain places and ways to use them such as the mac-10 will dominate 2nd-3rd round but after that don't really bother because it's pretty bad against armoured enemies

Team strategies

People in lower even a bit higher ranks don't know different team strategy calls such as one that I have noticed waterfall on mirage, but learning the names of the plays will help you in later ranks so that you don't get left behind not knowing what you are doing. Remembering to buy up when your team does is something people often screw up one person may have $6000 whilst the rest of the team has $2500 so even though you can afford you should either save it or buy your team upgraded pistols for the round.

Which guns to learn

Earlier in the guide I mentioned which guns you should and shouldn't use and now you have to learn how to use those guns except for maybe the snipers if you aren't so good with them, I do have another guide on a lot of info on all the guns and grenades so you can go there to learn about different ways to use the guns and the spray patterns of those guns.

Which maps to play

There are many different maps to play in competitive cs:go but as you'll already know dust 2 is the most popular/played map in the list but not everyone is good on dust 2 and some people are too good to even fight against, my suggestion is playing the other maps such as mirage, cache, inferno etc and seeing which maps you like to play on and which ones you play the best on, some maps are much easier to learn and play. Which is why dust 2 is so popular because its easy to learn and play
