WELCOME TO ALPHA MIKE FOXTROT
This guide is to help you familiarize with the VR controls and menu systems within the game. We wish to help provide the best user-experience and to minimize those embarrassing moments where you can't move around or switch weapons. Please spend a few moments looking through here or referring back to this guide as you progress through the game.

For a more detailed explanation or to try out the controls, please click on the "Tutorial" section in the in-game Lobby.

GETTING STARTED

BEST VIEWED ON PC (Mobile view is slightly disaligned)

1. START SCREEN, Please select a Server.

Globe: Indicates the menu system and shows the server you are currently logged into.
LFG (Looking for Group): displays the amount of players in the Server of selected country
Battle icon: The total number of ongoing games
Ping: Typically, a ping under 200 is playable


2. SET HEIGHT
The first thing you should do upon entering the lobby is to "Set Your Height" for the best experience. This setting is located on the back wall.

If you pass your HMD to a friend or end up floating in-game, simply "Reset Your Height" (option also available in-game via the Menu)



3. CHECK SERVER INFO
The next step is to make sure that you are on the correct server and that your ping is playable. The "Exit" button brings you back to the Start Menu where you can re-"Select a Server" if you need to.







4. SELECT LEFT / RIGHT HAND & WALK SPEED
Before you join or host a game, select if you are left or right handed (Default is Right).

Select your Walk Speed:
Rookie: Slow, no dizziness
Standard: Standard - Default
Pro: Rack up them killz!



5. SELECT PRIMARY WEAPON
Using the Trigger button while pointing your controller at the arrows, you can cycle through the available weapons.

Press "Click to Test" to check out the recoil on each firearm Each gun has a unique reaction and caters to a buffet of play styles.



6. SELECT RED OR BLUE TEAM
Red Team: Military Style
Blue Team: PMC Style









7. JOIN GAME / HOST GAME
Join Game: Select Available Server and click "Join". If your selected Team is Full, switch to the opposing team and click "Join" again
Host Game: Select Map, Select Game Mode, Select Game Size, Click Host






7.1 IF YOU ARE THE HOST
Wait for other players to login to the server.
-You may explore the map while you wait for players to join.
-You may press the Menu button on your controller to hide the Host Menu




Once everyone has joined the server, make sure the Host menu is OPEN and squeeze BOTH TRIGGERS to START! ENJOY!!

CONTROLS

Below pls find the user control system:

OPEN / CLOSE MENU
Press the "Menu" (Y or B) Button on either Controller to Open / Hide Menu System.
While holding down trigger, you can select menu functions or move the Menu to a new location by pointing at the globe.

RESET MENU LOCATION
HOLD trigger and press Menu button



WALKING
Using your non-dominant hand controller touchpad (Thumbstick), either press down or gently swipe (push) towards the direction you wish to walk towards.
RUNNING
Double Tap (Push down thumbstick) your non-dominant hand controller touchpand while pushing towards your chosen direction
(You cannot run while holding any weapons, except for the knife)



RAISE / HOLSTER FIREARM
Place your hand over the grip of the primary weapon, the weapon will be highlighted. Grab the weapon by pulling the trigger on your controller. To Holster your weapon, press GRIP on the controller






TWO HANDED GRIP
Gripping your weapon with both hands reduces recoil and facilitates accuracy.

First grab your weapon, move your other hand towards the foregrip of the weapon and your hand will auto-grip the gun. To release press the GRIP button on your foregrip hand



RELOAD MAGAZINE
Touch the magazine on your gun with trigger and pull downwards, or press PAD DOWN (THUMBSTICK) on your primary hand controller. The magazine will drop to the ground. Look at your chest, pick up a new magazine and insert into your gun. There is no need to rack the gun, so you can simply pull the trigger to start shooting again.
















GRAB PISTOL
Your Pistol is located behind your back. Reach behind your back and pull trigger to grab your pistol. Press GRIP to holster your pistol back.






RELOAD PISTOL
If the pistol is in your right hand, press PAD DOWN (THUMBSTICK) to release magazine. Look at your chest and pick up a new magazine to insert into your gun. There is no need to rack the gun, so you can simply pull the trigger to start shooting again.






CHANGING WEAPONS
Everytime you die, you have an opportunity to change your Primary Firearm. Each weapon reacts differently, so be sure to give them all a go!
When the menu pops up, use (THUMBSTICK) Pad Left and Pad Right to scroll through the available choices. Pulling the trigger confirms Yes. Pressing (THUMBSTICK) Pad Down confirms No and that you wish to use the same weapon again.



GRENADES
You are issued two grenades each time you spawn. They are both located on your left chest position. Grab a grenade by holding down on trigger. Move the grenade towards your eyes to prime it, and you will both see and hear confirmation. Throw, roll or drop the grenade by releasing the trigger after your action. The grenade will explode 3 seconds after you left go.



COMBAT KNIFE
You are issued two combat knives every time you spawn. They are both located on your right chest position. Grab a knife by holding down on Trigger. Releasing the trigger button drops the knife. Once you grab both knives you may only re-holster one of them. Try to Stab, Slice n' dice or Throw your knives at the enemy. One strike to the head does the trick!













NIGHT VISION
Night Vision is very useful in certain maps and game scenarios. With an empty hand, pull on the trigger and point to the top of your forehead to activate. Point again to turn it off.

MENU SYSTEM

OPEN MENU
AMF has an intuitive Menu System.
Press the Menu button (Y or B on Oculus) on either controller to Open.
Hold down TRIGGER on the Globe to move Menu Location.






SCOREBOARD
Press the Scoreboard Button above the globe to open the Scoreboard.

Pro Tip: Keep the Scoreboard Open and lift it above your head to always monitor your performance while playing by simply looking up!




VOICE CHAT
Voice chat is enabled in-game, there are 3 modes:

ALL: All players will hear you speak (Default)
TEAM: Only your teammates will hear you
MUTE: Your voice is muted in-game





MAIN MENU
Press the Middle icon above the globe to open the Main Menu.
While Holding down trigger on the globe, you can move the menu around.






SET HEIGHT
If you notice movement issues, use Set Height to reset your height.
If you pass your HMD to a friend, use Set Height before playing.
Through this menu your height will be reset only for that round. To permanently save your height go to the Lobby.



SET LEFT / RIGHT HAND
Change to use your left or right hand to fire your primary weapon.
Your pistol will move to the left or right side of your hip accordingly.






SET WALK SPEED
Select your Walk Speed
Rookie: Speed 1 - Slow, no dizziness
Standard: Speed 2 - Default
Pro: Speed 3 - Rack up them killz!!





HINTS
Turn Hints on or off here. The labels are there to help you find your gear quickly!
Turn off this function to see your full body in all of its VR glory.


BACKGROUND MUSIC
Set the Background Music Volume









KILL YOURSELF
Press this button to Kill yourself (Intended for when you lose tracking or experience movement issues).

You will have the option to select a weapon again.

Your Death Score will not increase if you kill yourself



LEAVE GAME
Press the Command Center Truck to return to the lobby. You will exit the match and cannot return.
If you are the host, your host privileges will pass onto the next player. The game will continue unaffected until the preset round time runs out.

@Szogo We tested the B Button and it works fine. Please make sure that you are in a map already before pressing B Button.

Hi @Axe Coldon, Please choose how many players in a match and click host. When inside the map, press "Start" on the right hand side top of the screen with Trigger, the bots will spawn automatically.

We do have a locked server function coming up in the next few days which will prevent other players from joining your single player game. :)
