At the end of each level in this series, the cube is sucked up and taken to the next test chamber. But you are right. more visual cues. Ill put this into part 4, since I already did part 3. The problem is that a cube button only outputs while there is a cube on it, So for the catapult part, the button on the ceiling wirelessly triggers an innaccessible room with a cube dispenser and button. This allowed me to create a 1 touch cube button that permanently sent out and activation signal.

I think the main problem with this was clarity, and being able to get stuck. You should try visual cues to point the player in the right direction, not just having a large open room and a funnel with a laserfield that's hard to see without going into the funnel. I did like the room where you have to make a gel pit because I accidentally walked into the pit, but still had a portal under the bounce gel. It IS possible to get stuck there though, so I would put in a single laserfield in a corner so the player can suicide (a rule of game design is to never force the player into the menu). The end confuses me; I went down there with the CC and appear to be stuck.
