Description
A Very New, Never Before Attempted, Gems Expansion. This is a "Simple" Mod that adds many new gem types & overhauls names, gem price values, etc. The new gems are not in any recipes yet. They are just new "loot" to be found, sold, or decorate your home, etc. Base Game Compatible. DOES NOT OVER-WRITE any existing items, except names & prices have been tweaked. Gems are a little more realistically priced in comparison to each other, some are more valuable than before. All are real gem types with fairly more accurate values in comparison with each other. Added one fictional gem type for the fun of variety. Mod does not break immersion or clash with the game's lore-type atmosphere. >>>MORE Types/shapes in the future? MAYBE<<< This whole Project was RIDICULOUSLY more difficult than you'd expect (or I did, either). I had to do this the very very long way around... testing colors in Nifscope, then renaming EVERY SINGLE LINE. Yes it took hours... and hours... ah hem... you get the picture. The gem shapes I recolored were the easiest and least time consuming. As much as I really want to make every Gem color in every "flawless" gem shape -- it would probably just be too much and take too long. If this mod (and my OWN future mods which will probably include this one) is/are a success and well liked -- I may still attempt it. :)

I reserve all rights and claims to this mod. Anyone can attempt to do the same thing, but do not share this mod on ANY other websites, or pretend like it is yours. Ask me first and obtain my permission before you try to upload it as part of one of your own mods, or any similiar use, haha... (siting me is not enough. ask first!), or re-uploading it or re-using it in anyway. (of course your own private use and enjoyment is why I put it up here! Enjoy!) [Haha, just covering all the bases!] Many More Similiar and Related Mods on the Way! Superior Quality is the Whole Point! So Bare With Me!

Gems added include... Zircon, Peridot, Citrine, Topaz, etc...!

Maybe include a list of gems that will work with the Arcane Nexus since the stones I already had were changed when I installed this and do not work for that function now .

THIS MOD IS WORKING CORRECTLY -- I double checked & re-tested this mod. ALL NEW & OLD GEMS ARE OBTAINABLE THROUGH NORMAL GAMEPLAY. If you want to use console commands to add the flawless Sapphires directly to your inventory -- use the "~" key then type [] the last number here after the space says how many you want to add to your inventory, here it adds just 1. player.additem is the command, "00068523" is the actual ID for Flawless Sapphire, then add a space & how many you want. Then if you hit enter, the game will add it/them to your inventory, then hit "esc" to exit the screen. If anyone has any issues, let me know. But from launch until now i've had no problems with this mod, while testing or playing. Have fun all! And please! Recommend & rate etc etc etc if you enjoy this mod!

some of the items may have been renamed including the console command names. Uncertain, i'd have to double check. Anyone having this problem should check any notes I added in the mod's folder. i believe i left several extra bits of detailed info on all the changes that were made. I did change a lot of the levels at which you're likely to find each gem, some being far more rare & higher level than before. Some more common than before. Its also possible some unknown factor is causing issues, so i'll have to take a second look. Real Life has been keeping me pretty busy though, so i can't say when that'll happen.

I thought it might a case of being too low-level, but they weren't showing up with console commands either.

Oh, and by the way, by level 50 i believe you should be getting every type of gem. Though be aware that the rarest types will probably still be rare to find. Hopefully not too rare, but still exciting to find pop up. Also, consider finding all the Stones of Barenziah, to find more gems everywhere. :)

@AbiBunyip - I see what you mean. I edited the leveled lists. The flawless gems should show up, but it may take a much higher level to get the flawless versions of each gem. The game's flawless gems were kept, so other than waiting for higher level drops, there shouldn't be a problem. Considering the trouble this may cause for a few quests, I'll look into adding a version that adds the gems you need to an easy location near to the Quest giver.
