By the way, if you make a cool screenshot or video with this model, please leave me a comment with a link to it! I love seeing those.

Don't forget to purchase Max Payne 3. It's super good. Infact, buy all three games. Buy them for your friends, too.

Thank you to Ninja_Nub for the added face flexes!

Hey, I've got a problem with the Tropical Max model, it crashes the game whenever I try to pose his fingers?

Seems only the models from the Max Payne packs crash the game when I try to finger pose them.

Also super DoF in one of the tool menus can be really nice for some shots but also use it sparingly. You can get REALLY complicated with taking screenshots in gmod, there's shit with editing by taking multiple z-buffer screens for super accurate dof masks, or getting ambient occlusion by forcing it through your graphics card control panel and I don't even get into any of that stuff. Take a look on Facepunch in the screenshots section.

I use lamps since they cast dynamic lights ("env_projectedtextures"). I downsample my pictures from a ridiculous resolution (type 'poster 2' in the console to take a poster of your screen and it will be 2 times as big as your current monitor resolution in your screenshots folder. poster 3 = 3 times as big, etc.) Downsampling is just taking a giant 7800x5100 resolution and shrinking + sharpening it in Photoshop, maybe adding some color correction. Shrinking it gets rid of ALL the jaggy pixels, it's super anti-aliasing (quality dependent on the multiple you chose for your poster size) I also had some settings that made my dynamic lights very very sharp and high resolution.( Hit my framerate quite a big but that's alright since you don't see framerate in a picture. I find using the camera tool and just increasing the FOV a little or changing the angle really helps a ton in making it feel cinematic too.

It does not. If you search 'player' on this page, all results come from the comments. Consider this: the milk jug prop in Half-Life 2 is a model, playing as the Half-Life 2 zombie in multiplayer is a playermodel. If you browse the 'Model' category type that these models are in, you'll find dozens of other bipedal human characters that are not playermodels. I'm afraid you are mistaken with your 3D semantics.

But just because I'm the nicest guy around, I'll work on some playermodels just for you, champ.
