ScrumbleShip 0.3 - Phoenix
0.22 released - Now with Multiplayer!
Description
Hi! I'm Dirkson. I'm trying to make one of the most accurate space combat simulation games. Ever.

For some reason this includes a lot more space cows and butter than I thought it would.

So far it's got voxels, multiplayer, heat simulation, kilometer long spaceships, real world materials, organic ships, and awesome music. Eventually, it's going to have AI crew, inertia, planets, and more.

  • Want to build a granite mothership with dozens of fighters? You can do that.
  • A spinning battleship with a three meter thick titanium hull? Sure, that too.
  • A butter asteroid-tug that melts whenever you turn on the engines? Of course!

Want to try it out? Visit our website for a free demo:

Wonderful, best of luck with the continual development.

Looks like a more realistic (supposedly-according to dev) carbon copy of starmade. Though I haven't seen exactly what they mean by realism, or what that will entail or anything. It might involve a whole lot of cooling/radiators and a sh/t ton of radiation protection.

I'm a sucker for these things though so I'm gonna thumb it and follow. Good luck to the dev(s), especially in finding a graphics designer for that ui...No offence. I really hope it is as technical as I think. Again good luck.

Haven't heard a thing regarding this game besides an upcoming version "countdown" in December.

Still under active development! The last month or so has been spent switching over our network design to a new, improved system. I just released the first working code for that a few days ago - Once it becomes more stable, I'll be sure to release another full version and some demos.

Probably the best place to check for updates is the dev page on the website. [www.scrumbleship.com]

Cheers,

Kamen - I'm not sure we'll ever be on steam. I suspect if we are, I'll hand out steam codes en-masse to users.
