Description
My personal take on a vanilla Squad Select Screen! Completely built from the ground up!

The very basic idea is that all slots are arranged on some kind of ellipse and you can scroll (infinitely in either direction) when you have more than 6 soldiers to send.

Features:
  • User Interface for more than 6 soldiers. How many? There's no limit!
  • More intuitive with built-in overview!
  • More information: PCS', Health, Abilities (Shows You The Skills), Stats, Armor, Primaries, Secondaries, Pockets...
  • Bad Math and 3000 lines of code!
  • 100% controller compatible!
  • Configurable with Mod Config Menu, but also standalone!
  • Includes a squad size setting!

Not included:
  • A fix for spawn points when you use more than 9 soldiers. See recommended mods below.

Known Issues:
  • Armory Screens reachable from the Squad Select Screen have a Hotlink to Geoscape. DO NOT CLICK IT. IT CAN CAUSE THE GAME TO LOCK UP FROM AVENGER DEFENSE. This is something I can't easily fix.
    THE same applies to a Training Center button. It is not supposed to appear.

How do I increase my Squad Size?

It has a built-in way of choosing the squad size, either via MCM or via the local config file.

If the built-in way of modifying squad size breaks with your setup, you can disable it in XComGame.ini

  • How do I increase my Squad Size?
    • See above.
  • Why does this not include a Spawn Point fix?
    • I wanted to make it as compatible as possible. Since other mods are addressing this issue, I didn't add it.
  • I don't have MCM. How do I configure the mod?
    • Start the game once. It will create a file: "C:/Users/%USERNAME%/Documents/My Games/XCOM2 War of the Chosen/XComGame/Config/XComrobojumperSquadSelect_NullConfig.ini". There you can adjust the same values exposed to MCM.

@Sman65 all you need to do i "slide the mouse right to left" while "holdin" one of the soldier place so the selection would show you the 2 extra tab for soldier OR use the mouse wheel and slide to the added tab

The buton switch view will help to see all the soldier

Yo i only have six slots in Mission Prep what? I set it to eight and have the fix for larger squads...... dont get it?

Got it working. One have to remove "extra squad size upgrades mod" complitely.

Getting all the time crashes already in main menu with this mod.. Any ideas?

I have a working copy of my mod that would show it, unfortunately right now, it'd crash the game if the Vest Slot mod wasn't enabled. The fix requires a change in the X2 WotC Community Highlander, as soon as it updates I'll update this mod.

Hey @robojumper someone finally worked out that Vest Slot for WotC but it doesn't seem to show up on the display of this mod. IF the problem is on you could you please add in a vest button aswell? cheers and thanks!
