Regional Africa

Description
Want to play using just an African world? Do just that! Best for Duel, Tiny, and Small sized maps. This mod:

Removes non-African civilizations for random AI opponents.
Sets African Religions as the default religions (with Zulu using African Syncretism)
Adds Protectors to City State views from the UI - CS View City (GK) mod by William Howard.
Adds 4 new City States to Brave New World's existing 10 African City States.
Updates the existing City States to use the people's name for their adjective.

Note that some of the 4 new City States were created just for this mod, but credits go to the following for original city states that were adapted:
Iceco's Not Another City States Mod for the Philistines and Puntite

This mod uses a slightly modified version of Tomatekh's Historical Religions mod with the dominent religion of each of the African civilization during their respective golden age (which was in very different historical eras for each civilization). If you prefer Tomatekh's Historical Religions mod over my version, just rename or delete ModifyReligions.xml. If you prefer the original religions, 4 of the 6 civilizations will be competing for Islam. Also, if you prefer to allow non-African civilizations for random AI Opponents, just rename or delete LimitCivilizations.xml.

Note that City States and Religions cannot be added or removed after the map is created.

Mod does not appear in mod list? Causes? Is it called Regional Africa in Mod List?

Yes, I usually use a smaller pangea mod map (the one with less ice) and like the random factor for locations. The real focus of the series was to put in more city states and limit them to give a regional feel. I hate playing with African civs and having an American, Russian, or European city state appear - spoils the mood! It should work well with other mods as long as they don't force the default non-regional city states onto the map.

Thx, i thought there would be a 'africa' map...but it is a africa frame for all map choices. Think pangea would fit most, but a map-script for africa much like 'Europe' would be a nice enhancement.

I guess you are having some specific problem, but we'll start with this to troubleshoot. From inside the Civ game, you get the mod via clicking Mods, Accept, Go to Mods, and then find this one and subscribe, then return to the game. After that, you start a new game via Mods, Accept, select the mod and turn it on, then Next, Single Player, Setup Game.

Sounds nice. But, how to start it?
