Description
Built on the site of the Second Jewish Temple atop Temple Mount, the coloured exterior of the Dome of the Rock makes it stand out from the Jerusalem surrounds. It is centered around the foundation rock, a Holy site in Islam, and served as a shrine for Islamic pilgrims on their pilgrimage to the Holy Land since the date of completion in 691 CE. Ingame, the Dome of the Rock provides an additional +5 Faith with each belief in the city which unlocks a building, and requires Theology.

Requires either expansion pack, and credit to co-author Sukritact for the icon.
Note that beliefs which unlock a building are Mosques, Cathedrals, Pagodas and Monasteries. Custom beliefs which add buildings are not supported.

Works with BNW?

GA points and artist slot removed, as per BNW changes. If you don't have BNW, simply remove the comment tags around these in the Buildings.xml file and it'll be back to normal

For some odd reason I gained the base benefits, but not the +5 faith for the beliefs of mosques and pagodas.

It will only work with the basic building beliefs (Pagodas, Mosques, Cathedrals and Monasteries)

I'm curious to see how this will interact with the beliefs expansion pack.

I had the great honor of being taken inside the Dome of the Rock, and then to the Cave of the Prophets below the foundation Rock.

It is a location of deep religious faith.
