Demo gameplay video
ShipAntics is a 2D adventure game, in it's early stage of development by Studio POWWOW.

ShipAntics stars a madcap crew of seafaring adventurers; Captain Fred, the warm-hearted skipper of the Barnacle, Amanda his precocious, wild and wide-eyed daughter and Otto, a cheeky young tall-tale touting Octopus. The game follows Amanda and Otto as they venture into the wild blue yonder, solving mysteries and puzzles with Fred and the rest of the crew of the Barnacle.

In ShipAntics we take on the role of Amanda and her sidekick Otto as they navigate and
explore their strange and wonderful world, interacting with characters and solving puzzles. The world of ShipAntics is bright, vibrant, and teeming with bizarre characters in varying locations. With a surreal sense of humour to the fore, and a focus on character
development and zany dialogue, the world of ShipAntics is one you'll want to revisit, again and again.

Features. The game features two main playable characters. Inventory system. Rich animation in-game and cutscenes. Treasure hunting Quest - Solve all the puzzles and find all the secrets.

Ha ha, I love the animation of this, reminds me of a child's book, bright colors for when its day, darker colors for when its night. Best of luck getting greenlit!

Keeping an eye out and was glad to see it running on something. Still a day 1 purchase. Now if there was a way to cram it directly into my eyes/brain then we are in business.

@stanky_hanky_panky . Thanks , glad we got your vote! I'm lead designer on the project. Well spotted on the Fosters Home reference, its a big influence on the game for sure. My first animation gig was working on Fosters for Cartoon network, great show, amazing design. We're certainly trying to capture the look and feel of all those awesome Cartoon Network shows.

@Timelogic41 ^<(,ಥ+++ಥ)>^ Thanks for the great feedback!
The puzzles will be a mix of classic point and click puzzles and Professor Layton like mini games. But unlike in Layton, our puzzles will be in game and won't take you out of the world. So for example at one point in the game you will be challenged to a dance off by an old sailor and this will be a mini game that will be like a Dance Dance Revolution game

This looks awsome. I love the art style, and the 'family friendly' vibe. I would definatly get a copy of this for myself and giftable one for a friend of mine who would KILL for a game like this. Just one question, and I bet someone already asked this in the comments but I'm too lazy to look XD: What kind of puzzles are we talking about here?
