Description
NO HEARTHFIRE REQUIRED FOR THIS VERSION. RELEASING HEARTHFIRE VERSION MOMENTARILY.

A simple mod designed to improve some role playing options for players.

This mod simply improves the value of all cooked foods. The general goal was to make sure the value of the meal not only covered the cost of the base ingredients required, but also added a bit on top to represent a profit margin that a cook would put on his food.

Example:

A normal Pheasant Roast is valued at 4 gold.
However: Salt (2 gold) plus the value of pheasant breast (3 gold) comes to 5 gold. No normal cook would bother making this to sell because there is no profit. Therefore i simply double the total ingredient value and add a bit, raising the value to 12 gold.

I wont bother listing all price increases, but they arent serious or game breaking. The only dramatic increase in value is with Elsweyr Fondue. Because it uses expensive Moon Sugar (50 gold), ive increased the value up from 3 gold to 120 gold. This sort of includes the risk associated with using illegal drugs as an ingredient.

------------------
Players should now find that a career as a chef is now possible, since profits can be made. I prefer to make simple mods like this which give options for people's imaginations and role playing instincts to take advantage of.

I will upload a Hearthfire version very soon, which will include all new foods an bake stuff.

Enjoy.

Well im old school. Back in the Morrowind days traders wouldnt even barter with you if you had Moon Sugar on you. It is a drug, and its certainly a component of Skooma, which is 100% a drug.

Moon Sugar isn't illegal. Skooma yes, but not Moon Sugar.
