Minor fix applied to the Dismay shout. There should no longer be any cooldown associated with Dismay.


This is a "NO COOLDOWNS" version of Shout-Tastic. If you would like to try the normal version with cooldowns, here is the link:

The goal of this mod is to enhance the fun and usefulness of some of the less popular dragon shouts. The damage dealt by Fire Breath and Frost Breath has been significantly increased, and many of the shouts have been tweaked. Now you can engage in a battle of the Thu'um with the deadliest dragons of Skyrim.

In particular it seemed if the player goes through the effort to find and unlock the third word of any dragon shout, it should be both fun and useful. Accordingly, the third words of several shouts have new secondary effects.

Two new quests added, A Trace of Aetherium and Synearil's Legacy, which make it possible to craft the Dovah Mir, a magical talisman you can give to your follower to protect them from friendly fire damage by player shouts.

In order to begin A Trace of Aetherium: you must be at least level 10 and have already killed Sahloknir

In order to begin Synearil's Legacy: after completing A Trace of Aetherium, you must return to Synearil's Shrine and pray to Talos

Beside the no cooldowns, other changes to the shouts include:

- Third word of Ice Form enhanced with an AoE Ice Form Blast
- Unrelenting Force damage is same as vanilla but force is more powerful
- Third word Dismay has new visual effect, and affects undead
- Third word Throw Voice summons a decoy at the target area and allows player to remain undetected
- Third word of Animal Allegiance summons mighty beasts of the forest to aid the Dovahkiin
- Third word of Aura Whisper adds temporary boost to Sneak and Pickpocket
- Third word of Disarm affects higher level enemies
- Third word of Kyne's Peace affects people as well as animals

INSTALLATION: Simply click "Subscribe" and when you open the Skyrim Launcher click "Data Files" and make sure to check the checkbox labeled "Load?"

This mod is not compatible with the normal version of Shout-Tastic, and it is most likely not compatible with any mod which changes shouts or the cell labeled "HighHrothgarExterior01." It is compatible with Dawnguard and Hearthfire, but does not require either.

you must do something at the shrine location involving the Fragment of Aetherium and the amulet

Is there a way to use the console to complete the quest/spawn in the item? The shrine won't register my presence and complete the quest.

Hmm, when using a lot of different mods and changing the load order, sometimes you might need to start a new game.

another problem i had with a base game related mod was not this one but another called hands of magnus, it made the staff of magnuses effect usable as a spell, but even when i moved that mod to the bottom of the load order it stll crashed my game when it got to the bethseda logo. do u know why that would happen even though it needs no dlcs to run?

figured out it wasint your shout mod that was the problem but honestly i had to delete slow time from my shout menu for the time being because of the major problem caused by it.

@Red Oblivion, no changes were made to enemy cooldowns. Most enemies use different shout spells as well. If a particular enemy seems to be using stronger shouts, let me know, I can check it.

Hmm Ravenant, no changes were made to Slow Time, just removed the cooldown.
