Description
Your companion cube is your only hope of escape!

it would be really cool if you could rate this in difficulty via comments using a 1/10 rating (1 being really easy and ten being virtually impossible)

Not bad, but you should really make the cube auto-respawn in case it accidentally gets destroyed by a moving elevator or angled panel (which happened to me on my first playthrough). I'd say this is slightly harder/more involved than your earlier tests, so probably a 3/10? Also, it's possible to use the flip panel to the right of the sideways button to reach the funnel, making the catapult sorta unnecessary, but since the buttons to activate the funnel and unlock the catapult are so close to each other it probably doesn't matter.

I'm a fan of companion cube maps and have made a few myself. This was a good one although I didn't need the laser in the last room. This one was fun as I felt I needed to consider possibilities before I actedm as I always do with companion cube maps.

Design - 6/10
Dofficulty - 5/10

Thanks for your help in playtesting this for me. I have fixed the loopholes in the puzzle (and you made me realise how pointless the final laser switch was - so it's been removed!) Hopefully I haven't missed anything this time. and that it's still just as enjoyable!

Ok, replayed it. In the large second-to-last room, I used the laser from that room back to the middle room, leaped from the button alcove in middle room to the rising piston platform, portaled back with companion through the laser (that always hurts!) I think that's the part you were asking about. Then back in the big room, I faithplate/portaled to the funnel button. I did the laser in the antechamber room but it didn't seem to do anything, so just portalled through with companion and out!

Did you manage to solve the puzzle (get throught the exit door?) I am confused/intriuged as to how you got the companion cube through to the 3rd room without using 2 elements you described.

I dunno how to do a video, but the two places I'm talking about are in the screenshot you have up there (: Glassed-in upper area (I assume I was supposed to take the piston platform up to it - although I did try to jump to it from the funnel) and the relay to the right up there.

Thankis for the feedbakc, could you screenshot the areas you mention or maybe even upoad a video of you completing this without the need for these items, so i can fix them. Cheers and glad you enjoyed it!.

That was fun. I didn't need the button in the glassed in area in... second to last room. Nor did I need the laser relay in there. (There didn't seem to be a way to get to the button, or to direct a laser to the relay.)
