#What does it do?
Nothing, the workshop is for models, if Valve picks a model, they make stats for it after playtesting.

This needs a wrench that you equip to build the Rayzar.
Not necessarily, note that a PDA slot was added to the game a while ago, I made a custom PDA called the "Handy Partner" that could be used for the Rayzar. This way, dispenser and sentry replacements can be mixed and match.

Doesn’t the mini dispenser use the "Handy Partner” though?
Yes, however it’s unlikely that Valve will add both buildings to the game, let alone at the same time, so one PDA for both is fine for now.

It doesn't have a metal gauge!
There is still the metal gauge on the HUD and again who knows what stats Valve could choose if they picked this model.

Looks too much like the repair node.
While they both have an antenna and circular screen we feel the Rayzar design is unique enough to not have any issues arise from the similarity.

The dish spinning goes wrong when upgrading

When making a new dispenser, I have to re-use the game engine code, as how it works, for each level it has a model with a building animation and a second simplified model for once its done upgrading.

This means that between each level upgrade the model switches and the animation of the antenna restarts.
And this switch can happen at any time since the player can upgrade at any time.
Valve could code it so the antenna animation syncs between models upgrading the levels.

Then again, I also made a 1 - level only building, so there's not that problem for that one.

It could be partly solved by having the dish come out last but we preferred to have the dish come out first to make the building more distinguishable from the dispenser.

How did Mexican contribute to the Rayzar?
Mexican was not inovloved in the creation of the Radar. He discovered the "handy Parnter" code to reveal the Rayzar as part of a mini game and was added as a symbolic contributor.

Might work as like an amplifier mod with minicrits?
It has the most lowest HP (not including the minisentry),HP of it cannot be healed and it costs additional metals to provide minicrits.

It would be cool if instead of this being a dispencer replace that if it would only tell temates were enemys were and on level two it would detect medics and at level 3 it would detect ubers so ADD THIS AS WHAT I SAID VALVE
