Exterminatus Missile Platform

Description
This is Crazy Exterminatus Version of the Flamestorm Missile. Automatically circumnavigates the planet to hit any GPS targets.

This is a Vanilla Build. NO MODS are required.

Note: This new missile no longer uses the vertical drop as the older Firestorm and Ironstorm. This uses accurately calculated free fall trajectory.

Use the Raycast Target Painter to get enemy GPS Location:

How To Use

See video for the steps described below.

1) Open missile silo doors.
2) Enter GPS into the Text of the Target Coordinates Panel LCD (Use the Edit text button).
3) Launch Missile.

Additional Features

1) This platform uses a script in the Quick Launch Computer to do all pre-checks (i.e. silo doors must be opened, GPS must be valid etc). To launch manually, enter the GPS Coordinates directly to the Argument field of the Missile Computer:

2) You can adjust the Warhead Dispersion Amount by entering the Spread Percentage into the Title of the Target Coordinates Panel:

The default Spread is 100%. If a valid percentage is entered, it will show the overriden percentage during launch:

3) Works perfectly fine with Speed Mods. However, you need to enter the speed mod's maximum speed into the Custom Data of the Missile Computer, setting MAX_FALL_SPEED to the desired value:

Top example shows a speed mod with max speed of 480.

NOTE: Vanilla MAX_FALL_SPEED is equals to 104.37, which is CORRECT. Vanilla max moving speed is 100m/s but when free falling without thrust, it is 104.37m/s, so do not attempt to correct this if used in vanilla.

Author Notes

1) If you copy the Missile Platform to another map, you MUST TURN OFF Automatic Cleanup via Alt + F10 Menu:

Failure to do so will result in the cluster bombs instantly disappearing upon detachment (Due to "smart" cleanup).

2) No return to base routine (i.e. detaching back portion and return for reuse) as this missile will definitely only be built in Creative. Although fully survival compatible, no one will build this insanely expensive missile in Survival.

3) Due to Keen's recent changes, warhead now do not explode when hit by turret fire, and will only explode when commanded to. Tested it myself, no sane amount of turrets can block this (see 2nd video for assault against base with 8 missile turrets and 8 gatling turrets). Your only defense is Psychology (i.e. your complete belief that no one will build this insanely expensive missile, so you won't have to deal with it).

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE

@Krieger006, this IS a world... if you want to copy it, load into it and take a blueprint of the stuff you want to copy.

One day, In survival, I will build this. (BTW, It would be cool if it could get off the planet and attack ANYTHING, doging around obstacluse, like asteroids and planets. And, MORE WAREHEADS!)

MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

it should?

Alysius, if I were to manage to get this installed on a station above a planet, within the gravity well, is there a way to bypass the "fly x meters from current postion" and simply have it launch? Will setting that value to 0 acomplish this?
