Description
Description:
This is a pack of various vehicles for your driving pleasure. Simply click the subscribe button and the cars will automatically be added to gmod when you next start up, if you are already in the game it will download immediately.

Vehicle List:
- 1969 Dodge Charger
- Left 4 Dead Longnose truck
- Left 4 Dead Flatnose truck
- Left 4 Dead Pickup truck
- Vigilante 8 Clydesdale
- Vigilante 8 Mothtruck
- Mad Max V8 Interceptor

Trailer List:
- Box Semi-Trailer
- Tanker Semi-Trailer

*Note* to release the handbrake on any of the trailers press the use button on them, default is 'E'. You then need to place the pin on the trailer into the 5th wheel on the truck, I'm afraid the only way to do it is manually.

The interior of the Charger is currently unfinished but I will start working on it after completing the Pontiac Grand Am[chrisbrowne3d.blogspot.co.uk].

The map shown in the screenshot is called Countryside. You can download it here: http://hl2ep2.gamebanana.com/maps/91795

Also I'm not doing ANY requests, my schedule is full and even if I was taking them at this time you would have to be prepared to pay for any commissions.

@blueeyes41512 Thanks, the vehicles do have lighting and passenger seats but in order to get that functionality you do need to have VCMod installed, which is a paid mod. More info here: https://www.gmodstore.com/scripts/view/21

I would prefer to have a free alternative but I don't yet know Lua code well enough to add my own system. I would love to have a simple, optimized lighting system like Sligwolf has on his vehicles but he's a bit difficult to get hold of so I don't know if it would be possible to adapt his code to add lights to my own vehicles.

Ah ok perfect.

@[TGMRS] ZIO PICCANTEPIA When I last modified the handling for the Charger I made the front suspension softer, this made the front end sit lower and I never got around to modifying the animations for the car to fit the new lower ride height.

why the charger front wheel alignment is lowered?
Master Chris  [author] Jan 20 @ 11:58am
@Jack Foxtrot Yes that is definitely one improvement I'd like to add to the Charger.

As for the interceptor I have no plans at all to modify it. As Max said it's not my model, it belongs to Gianpietro Fabre and at this point it's almost 14 years old: http://www.ganjica.net/2004/11/21/ford-falcon-the-last-v8/ It just feels a bit pointless to modify it now, especially since it's a very low poly model by modern standards.

It would make a lot more sense for someone to take the Ford Falcon XB model from Forza and just modify that to look more like the Mad Max car with the streamlined facia and wings.

Just an add-on, we did get permission to put it into Gmod though ;)
Mauzer  [author] Jan 19 @ 9:47pm
@Jack Foxtrot The interceptor wasn't our model so we don't really have the grounds to edit or modify it in anyway, plus if i remember right the guy that orginally ported it into GTAIV is a ghost on the web now.
