"Watch until the end ! It is really worth it ;)
Here is my submission for the SFM Saxxy Awards 2012 Best Drama.
It has been a project I had in mind for a long time, and it took me even longer to create !
I actually had to cut some scenes because of the 5 minutes limitation,
and I have been having some problems with the SFM crashing when trying to render at a higher resolution, thus the not optimal quality.
I will upload it again once I manage to render it at max quality.
Enjoy ! Vote ! ;)

Valve for making such good :
-programs like Steam or the SFM.
-games like TF2.
Valve for working on Steam on Linux

All the music used has been taken from the official "Meet The..." videos.
All the other content has been created by me,
except the administrator model, made by RebBOOcus on Garrysmod.org

My commentary about the plot :
"I actually think the pyro is one of the deepest playes of tf2, he actually lived the death of a close friend (I chose a spycrab just to give him a place in the tf2 history) : the best scene of my movie is, in my opinion, when he is wearing his friend's corpse, we really feel that he does have feelings, very strong feelings (e.g. when he's looking at the infinity), and that those very strong feelings ended being unbearable, thus the pyroland : it was his way to protect himself against those feelings, just like alcohol or the drugs in general.""

at the begining, heavy performed a magical disappearing act xD

Story concept is interesting, but the animation is rather choppy and the pacing needs work (some scenes are too long while nothing really happens, such as the footsteps in the dark, and Pyro sitting and staring into the camera at the end).

I actually think the pyro is one of the deepest playes of tf2, he actually lived the death of a close friend (I chose a spycrab just to give him a place in the tf2 history) : the best scene of my movie is, in my opinion, when he is wearing his friend's corpse, we really feel that he does have feelings, very strong feelings (e.g. when he's looking at the infinity), and that those very strong feelings ended being unbearable, thus the pyroland : it was his way to protect himself against those feelings, just like alcohol or the drugs in general. In my opinion, the way he reached pyroland, if throughout drugs or because of his mask, is just a detail ^^
And I must admit that there are some lightining transition issues that appeared due to the low-quality render I had to do to avoid sfm crashing.
Thanks for the positive feedback anyway :)
