We are about to release!
Release date: The program is mature and fully functional.
Actual Multiple Monitors is the utility that fills up the gaps in Windows user interface when working with several monitors at once. Install Actual Multiple Monitors to get such essential controls as Taskbar, Start menu, system tray and Task Switcher on each connected display, quickly allocate windows between monitors (either manually or automatically), improve the look-and-feel of your desktop with the multi-monitor desktop wallpaper and screen saver, create as many desktop profiles as you need. With these subtle but indispensable enhancements your productivity may be increased several times!

  • Play on One Monitor, Surf on Another

While you are playing full-screen on one monitor, usually you can't do anything on others: best-case scenario is that the game pauses while you're trying to activate a new window on another screen. Worse case scenario: the game auto-hides.

Actual Multiple Monitors has a feature that forces the game to ignore its deactivation and remain active and operative while you are working with other windows. Thus, you can chat with your friends, surf the web for game hints/solutions, and learn game tactics on a spare monitor, without interrupting gameplay.
How to Force the Game to Ignore its Deactivation 1. Download, install and run Actual Multiple Monitors. 2. Run the desired game. 3. Press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-I. 4. (Optional) Press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-I again to cancel the Ignore Deactivation mode (make sure the game is active before pressing the hotkey).
  • Restrict the Mouse within the Game Window

Playing in a window has some advantages: you can easily switch to other windows, place the game window on any available monitor or quickly minimize it if such a need arises. However, some games, while running in a window, do not bind the mouse pointer by the game window's interior.

Actual Multiple Monitors has a feature that locks the mouse pointer within any given window. So, if the gameplay reacts by placing the mouse to the screen edge (like scrolling the map in strategy games), locking the mouse will assure that moving the mouse out of the window accidentally won't spoil your gameplay.
How to Lock the Mouse within the Game Window 1. Download, install and run Actual Multiple Monitors. 2. Run the desired game. 3. Switch it to windowed mode. 4. Make sure that the game window is the current active window. 5. Press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-L. 6. (Optional) Press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-L again to let the mouse pointer move freely.
  • Stretch the Game Window across All Monitors

Most games are only able to run in a window, not full-screen.

Actual Multiple Monitors has a feature that allows users to make any window span the entire visible area in a single click.
How to Maximize a Game to Entire Desktop Area 1. Download, install and run Actual Multiple Monitors. 2. Run the desired game. 3. Switch it to windowed mode. 4. Make sure that the game window is the current active window. 5. Press Win-Num* OR Click the Maximize to Desktop title button. 6. (Optional) Repeat step 5 to restore the game window to its normal size.
  • Wrap the Desktop Edges for Easy Navigation

Extra-wide desktop (e.g. two or three widescreen monitors aligned horizontally) is a pain to navigate through: dragging the mouse from the leftmost to the rightmost monitor and back is tedious and distracting.

Actual Multiple Monitors has a feature that "wraps" the desktop edges in either horizontal, vertical, or both directions: when you try to move the mouse pointer beyond certain desktop edge, it doesn't stop on that edge but appears at the opposite edge instead.
How to Wrap the Desktop 1. Download, install and run Actual Multiple Monitors. 2. Right-click its icon in the notification area and select Configure. 3. In the appeared Settings window click Mouse, and then click Multiple Monitors. 4. Mark the Wrap the desktop check box and select the wrap mode: horizontally, vertically, or entirely. 5. Click Apply.
  • Get a Bunch of Handy Tools for Everyday PC Use

If you are using your multi-monitor PC, not only for playing games, then you may have already discovered that Windows lacks sufficient support for multiple monitors.

Actual Multiple Monitors rectifies, improves and enhances the everyday multi-monitor experience with plenty of great features like fully functional taskbar on each monitor, advanced multi-monitor wallpaper/screensaver manager, improved window management, and much more.

With Actual Multiple Monitors you will get a fully functional taskbar onto each display. No matter which monitor you are working with - the following Windows 7 Taskbar features will be available anywhere:
  • Start button and toolbars,
  • Pin, Peek and Jump Lists,
  • Notification area (system tray), clock and Show Desktop button,
  • and many others...

Be saved from routine tossing of windows between monitors - new buttons in each window's title bar give an instant access to advanced window functions and let apply them in a single click:
  • Move Window to Another Monitor additional title button - moves window to another monitor
  • Maximize Window over Entire Multi-monitor Desktop additional title button - makes window span the entire composite desktop or just the selected monitors

Using Actual Multiple Monitors, you can set up any kind of Desktop's background on multiple displays:
  • single picture stretched over the entire desktop
  • individual picture on each monitor
  • individual slideshow running separately on each monitor
  • flexible picture positioning (center, tile, stretch, proportional stretch, crop to fit)

Actual Multiple Monitors gives new abilities for screen savers (even those that don't have native multi-monitor support) - you will be able to:
  • stretch any screen saver over the entire desktop
  • put individual screen saver onto each monitor

Your mouse will get new functions and abilities when you install Actual Multiple Monitors, such as:
  • edgeless desktop
  • lock the mouse in a certain window or monitor
  • tight monitor boundaries
  • drag or size a window by any point
  • scroll inactive windows with the mouse wheel
  • and many others

Actually, we have done almost everything to make AMM independent of Steam so that if you have any problems when Steam fails then please provide more details to our tech support at

This is build in windows 8 or higher still usefull features in it I see so far but there are many programs already that you can download to get the same thing as this one.

Also when you have this running it will count as steam so if your steam gets offline or something it might bug your desktop and such.
Note: I don't know these things for sure, but are kinda obvious to see happen if steam fails.

Ignore Deactivation is an awesome, useful feature, but it still has some bugs and doesn't work at all with some games, like the Battlefield series. Since Battlefield 4 is the game I play the most, I would really like to see this fixed. But anyway, great app, deserves to be greenlit.
