Nikki and the Robots Comic Art by Anjin Anhut
Because We Love Robots: Dead Cyborg on Greenlight!
Release date: Sep 17, 2012
Nikki is on a mission to rescue secret agents that have been captured by the evil Dr. Lacroix! You control Nikki to jump and run through the levels, collect batteries and press switches! Solve puzzles by remotely controlling robots through computer terminals, too!

Nikki and the Robots is a 2D Überpixel™ retro-style platformer game with cute characters and robots. The eleven Levels of the first episode contain both platformer action with wall jumping, as well as puzzles that require use of the robots' unique abilities.

So far, the first episode has been released, with more episodes to follow.

Try to find all hidden batteries and break highscores in the detailed levels.

Quickly create new challenges with the in-game level editor and easily share them online! Many (over 45) player-created levels are already available for Nikki and the Robots.

Nine wonderful chiptune tracks composed by cerror and other artists accompany Nikki throughout the first episode and the user levels.

Personally I don't care for the space or robot thing but I'd love to see this little nikki in a sequeal in a pretty jungle setting or something with other npcs/characters that are dressed up like animals.

Could be a decent platformer but I'm mostly voting for that soundtrack :)

Gameplay looks solid, music is great, graphics are cute. The sound effects need work, but nonetheless you have my attention, so it's an upvote, fave and subscribe for me.

A very fancy pixel. Nov 29, 2012 @ 8:18pm
I voted yes because I thought the art was interesting. The gameplay seems fairly bland, though. I am not sure what an uberpixel is, either.

Sounds more interesting than the usual type of puzzle game where you control multiple characters, and level editors are always welcome. I wish it had co-op, though.

Sorry, I don't think I caught the name of the game. Could you show it again?

(wasn't that impressed until you got to the stuff made in the editor - there's a lot of potential there for players of all skill levels)

I want to play!

The dev's logo and catchy music have my vote.
