Underwater+Naval Units Achieved!
Description
Release date: Alpha: Q4 2013
Dysis is a creative voxel-based real time strategy and first person shooter hybrid. You are given an army of robots, the ability to manipulate your environment, and the task of escaping the Dysis. The land is infinite, hostile and mysterious. You must explore, research and survive.

You've just crash landed; your journey begins with limited resources and the knowledge that you will be facing wave after wave of hostile enemies. You must engage or evade them to survive. You can hide your crash site and base by manipulating the world around you, block by block, or you can bring the fight to the enemy first-hand by piloting a robot and leading your army to victory!

  • Third Person: Fly overhead in a strategic view allowing you to control vast armies. Guide your units to success and escape the Dysis, or fail and watch as your efforts burn to the ground.
  • First Person: Get in and pilot any robot of your choice - crush your enemies first-hand, or build up your base to withstand assaults: the choice is yours!
  • Multiplayer: Play with and against friends via LAN or internet!
  • Sandbox: Whether you instruct your robots to tame the land or drive them yourself - you have full control over the terrain that you conquer.
  • Robots!

Sole Developer Chris Farrell makes real robots for a living, so expect this element to be fairly well researched. -Tom Sykes PCGAMER

it looks like a solid effort with some very interesting mechanical roots in real life, so I look forward to seeing where it ends up. - Nathan Grayson Rock Paper Shotgun

If he does video games even half as well as he does robotics, this is going to rock! - Bot Scene

A robot designer creating a game all by himself with an engine built from the ground up? Along with that, the idea is original and fresh? Color me impressed. - Steven Stern Valid Gaming

Problem is: It's dead. I backed it on Kickstarter, last news on the game was 2013 and I never ever heard anything from them :(

Dev went on a year-long hiatus. The money might be long-gone now.

I am not sure if this game is going anywhere atm. With his personal family issues there has been no progress (other than screenshots and blog stuff) since June of last year.

I googled, I've checked Reddit, Steam IndieDB Desura, His personal blog, the main website, Everywhere and I can't find a single god damn thing. It was supposed to be released in Janurary, WTF happened?
