Small update
Description
#103 is to be a story rich 3D Turn Based Strategy game for Windows & Mac. In it you play the role of a robotic Grim Reaper who has become disillusioned with a system he is forced to obey. After being sent to 'reap' the soul of a recently deceased child he begins to question whether this souls destiny is truly right and decides to make a stand.

Played out in a detailed 3D world populated by strange creatures and teaming with souls of the deceased, the game is set across 2 distinct worlds : the real world and 'The Sanctuary' - a dystopian world created in the image of hell by the elders of the Reapers.

As you guide #103 around the beautifully crafted levels trying to complete the mission objects you will also control up to 10 souls (amongst a few other characters). You will be able to combine #103's body and weapons with the freed souls to unleash new attacks and special abilities in your fight to free the trapped souls.

The game features:
  • Classic turn based gameplay
  • Detailed environments
  • Power up you weapons and attacks by combining spirits of the dead
  • Rich story driven single player game
  • Asynchronous online multiplayer game
  • Spectacular visuals and special effects
  • Earn new abilities and special moves by completing side quests

We are currently attempting to finance the game via Kickstarter to ensure we can produce an exceptional game full of story, heart and character. Please help out by visiting http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bytelogic/103-a-turn-based-strategy-game

Hey Dunkare

Thanks for the feedback, although not quiet a 'dead, tired stoner' with all the late nights I put it I feel close to it ;)

I fully appreciate what you are saying and am already braced for the failure of the Kickstarter and am working to get the pitch completely redone with new video, new rewards and hopefully a new campaign via a few gaming websites, Facebook and Twitter.

I am fully determined to get this project one way or another so am weighing up as to whether to use Kickstarter or IndieGoGo.

Thanks again

you really need to restart your kickstarter campaign - and make it a serious CAMPAIGN!
annouce it to every pc games website you can find, put it on youtube, facebook and all that crap and most important: create some promotion videos where you dont look like a dead tired stoner and sound like making this game is the most boring thing in the world.. :P be enthusiastic about it, show a lot of artwork - make them interesting. please.
no offense, really, i only want this game to become a success!

Thanks alot for the feedback guys.

@Lazo - I hadn't experienced this myself, but I will look at adjusting it and getting a new video up.

@Hawk - Generally, in the story as it is now there are only 5 missions (out of 32) where you would only control one character and these are 'stealth' missions where you are carrying souls. In terms of building the characters up, as long as you collect the right amount of souls (which come in variety of types) and the right materials from completing missions you can build the power ups, weapon enhancements and physical enhancements in any order.

TBS? You have my vote. By far my favorite genre. I also adore the lore and concepts you've shown. I really hope this gets made.
