Description
Suguri Collection

Ready, ignition, fight! Over-the-top aerial shoot-’em-up meets in-your-face, one-on-one fighting: this is Suguri Collection!

Suguri Collection includes the original side-scrolling shoot-’em-up, Suguri, as well as Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition HD. Originally a PlayStation 3 exclusive, Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition HD is Rockin’ Android’s enhanced update of the shoot-’em-up/fighter hybrid game. With Suguri Collection you get both games and their soundtracks.

In the original Suguri, experience the rush of battle with this fan-acclaimed and unique side-scrolling shoot-’em-up by indie Japanese game developer Orange_Juice. Showcasing unlockable weaponry, fighting-game-like boss battles, and a cool techno/trance soundtrack, Suguri is a must-have, must-play shoot-’em-up. Lock-on, dash, and fire away!

In Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition HD (aka AoSXE HD), the "little war" continues at a breakneck pace. AoSXE HD is an enhanced version of the eagerly awaited sequel to Suguri, and it features completely redone, optional HD graphics by the incredibly talented independent artist, Keiko Sakurai. The frenetic, rapid-fire combat action that fans have come to love in the first game is all here but with a focus on one-on-one shoot-’em-up/fighter hybrid action. Whether you choose to play as Suguri, Hime, Nanako, or any of the other multiple fighters, you're dealing with weapons of mass destruction! Inflict massive damage and dash to safety. Victory can be yours!

Suguri Features:
● Side-scrolling shoot-’em-up with fighting-game-like boss battles
● Mix and match multiple unlockable weapons
● Charming story with endearing characters
● Soundtrack included

Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition HD Features:
● Hybrid shoot-’em-up/fighting game
● Three story modes with multiple unlockable characters
● Pummel your friends with local and over-IP online support
● Optional, beautifully redrawn HD graphics
● Soundtrack included

Press Quotes for Suguri:

T-ONO: “Suguri takes a different approach and provides a means for the player to fly past bullet patterns, making it more accessible to casual and newer players. Suguri's defining feature is its dash ability; with it, players can go through beam projectiles without taking damage and charge up their super meter for explosive attacks. If you try to dash through solid projectiles like missiles and bombs, however, you would be stopped dead in your tracks and take damage. This, in addition to a heat gauge that will overheat when the player dashes too much, prevents players from abusing the feature and go through the game dashing nonstop.”

GAMERSROUTE: “And as you make progress with Suguri, you’ll find yourself unlocking many weapons to choose from. Suguri can equip two weapons, and you can set them as Weapon A and Weapon B. The main difference between A and B is that A can be used for normal attack as well as the Hyper attack; and B can only be used for normal attacks.” ... ” A good combinations of weapon equipment which complements the player’s skills will be the key to beating the levels. It almost feels like a puzzle, which is a plus for a shooter game.”

WORTHPLAYING: “The original Suguri serves as a primer to the gameplay of Acceleration of Suguri in many ways.”

Press Quotes for Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition HD:

GAMESUGAR: “So, what the heck is Suguri X, anyway? At its core, the game can be thought of as a top-down version of Sega’s Virtual On, only with the speed cranked up to the max and cute anime girls in the place of mechs.” … “Beyond its twitch action, what makes Suguri X so engaging is the depth of its combat.” ... “Bless Rockin’ Android for bringing Suguri X to the Playstation 3. The game’s potential audience is certainly limited and the frenzied action may be a little too much for most gamers to swallow, but for those of us who live and die by these types of niche titles, Suguri X is an absolute godsend.”

GAMEZONE: “Suguri X Edition challenges players to simultaneously implement both fighting game and shoot-’em-up strategies, and the end result is as interesting as it is addictive.” ... “The continuous Arcade mode, local and online versus, techno soundtrack, in-game Youtube recording, and the visible difference in difficulty modes all give Suguri X Edition the boost it needs, especially for its shockingly low price.”

GAMESPOT: “The intense battles and tight gameplay in Acceleration of Suguri X Edition offer a high replay value. If you spend a little time getting to know this shooter-brawler hybrid, you'll want to dig deeper to check out each character's moves, test her unique combat abilities against other adversaries, and grab a pal to pummel over and over again.”

Why do you guys need to go through greenlight, you've already got games on steam. Also Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition was available in an indieroyale bundle, would we get steam keys for it if this gets greenlighted?
