What is the point of running a comparison outside of the program?! I thought that was a PART of the program!

I animate for a living and always have time to see how someone else goes about it, also nothing wrong with trying to make a few bucks while teaching. :)

mchammond I do have permission to use the rig and many people have purchased the video already. A few were my students, some I am currently working with, and others are working in various other areas of animation. Nit Pick if it was on Youtube then there probably would be an issue with the agreement I have with iAnimate. I have worked extensively in SFM on the TF shorts as well as the Left 4 Dead cinema tics, the goal of the video would be to assist people who are beginning to work with character animation as people move into the animation tools that will be offered here. I agree that it probably shouldn't be in 'software', but that is where they asked me to put it. It would be nice to have a 'tutorials' section. Many people cant afford high price animation schools so videos are a nice gateway forward on the path to doing something you may love as a career.

UUUUUUGGGGHhhhhhh... fucking christ JUST POST IT ON YOUTUBE FOR FREE! A lot of people need some sort of tutorial on how to animate from start to finish. Seriously, I want to animate in a SFM or some other program with a guide. If this video series gets through and it's $599.99; fuck that noise.

Do you have permission to use that rig? that rig is for ianimate.net students use only?

You are not allowed to profit from it.

I don't really see the point in having videos on steam...
