Leazer's Open Lock

Update June 4, 2013: Version 2.0 is out! Get it here:

I completely remade the mod from scratch using a much better method, which is why it's seperate from this mod. I highly recommend you uninstall this version using the directions on that page and get the new version. The new version should work with all mods and DLC.

Original post:

Adds Open Lock spells to the game reminiscent of the ones found in Oblivion. The spells come in five levels: Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, and Master, and their tomes can be bought from traders or found in random loot.

NOTE: This mod adds a script to every door and most containers in the game. It will likely cause compatibility issues with other mods that modify doors and containers. I don't want to deter you from using my mod, but be warned. If in the future you download a new mod that modifies doors and/or containers and you encounter incompatibilities, suspect this mod first. Otherwise, I think the mod itself works pretty well and I hope you enjoy it.

Doesn't work with Balanced Magic. You can cast the spell it just doesn't unlock the container or door.

Unsubscribed and went and got the "Knock" open spell here on Workshop... since I couldn't find any tomes past adept and because the Knock system is based on the players alteration skill I found it to be waaay more enjoyable, check it out!

@Carnelian Yes I just discovered this today. These spells will not open any locks on Solstheim.

Has anyone else noticed that the spells don't seem to work while on Solstheim?
