Gunblitz Greenlit!

Ok, so its been a bit since we actually got Greenlit. Here's the skinny:

The Gunblitz team of Rapture Game Studios has decided to take a little time to further optimize the game systems(we want this thing to be able to run on a toaster). We are adding in content which had previously been cut from our first release due to complications. We have listened to comments and critiques of the game and are happy to annouce that we will also be overhauling the ship's gameplay a bit as well as adding in configuration options for the ship's loadout. We are going to inegrate with Steam for the first time, and multiplayer may be on the way as well.

Description

Release date: November, 2013

Gunblitz is an exciting retro space-shooter 'shmup' with a playstyle all its own. Its unique control scheme integrated with the gradually unlocked abilities must be used strategically by the player in order to clear the levels. Players move with the keyboard and aim missiles and abilities with the mouse. Old-school challenge coupled with a blockbuster soundtrack promise to enthrall the action-craving arcade enthusiast inside everyone. The novel 'heat' mechanic and the slag-strafe ability are sure to add a depth not before seen in a shmup.

Four difficulty levels
Eleven fast-paced and intense levels
Five amazing offensive and defensive abilities
Unique heat-based weapon mechanic
Insane enemies that just keep coming at you
Four challenging boss fights
Unique music for each level and each boss fight
Old-school level codes to start from any previously visited level

I love side scrolling shooters! They are always so entertaining and getting to a boss is always envy status.

I love this type of game, when you can quietly relaxing on the couch, pressing two buttons) Not permanently, of course. It would be nice to add a PvP mode.
