Description
Introducing paradoxes! This is an introduction to how paradoxes can be used to create complex mechanics. One example is stationary funnels, the only thing that can hold gels in place.

Here's my video. In the first room, I encountered some strange glitches ... but it's all about the paradox!

Hello, did you know that the cube gets frozen inside the tractor beam? It must be a bug of the game, but prevents you from finishing the map. The solution: use a sphere over a light bridge (yes, i also discovered this mechanism by myself ;). cheers

Ok, so feel free to build more maps around this mechanisms ;) It's always cool to see new combinations of elements :p

Oh, and I'm gonna try those antigravity tests you told me about.

I have played a lot of your tests, but I guess I haven't tried those that you're talking about (if i did, then that is where the inspiration would come from) Also, you are right about me trying to think of new mechanisms all the time. For this, it went something like: hmm, light bridges can hold cubes, so what can hold gels? I have already played most of your map creator tools, and have found them helpful a lot of times. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Believe it or not, I've had to delete a little over 90 tests before what I have now, due to it taking up too much cloud memory.

Ok so now I played the map, I realised that you are just talking about timers ;)
If you are interested about this kind of mechanism, you can check the maps with "timer" in their name in the Map Creator Tools collection ^^

Here is a quick list of my maps using this mechanism :
Reversed : The last I made where you have to find the mechanism yourself
Zero Gravity Field : The first concept map I made where I used the mechanism to make the player and objects "fly"
Anti-Gravity Field : The second concept map where I used that to make an artificial inverted gravity

Wow, it's rare to find someone that published more maps than me ^^ Anyway it seems that you started mapping with the same idea as me in mind : finding as much new mechanisms for puzzles as possible ;)
I told you on some other thread that I already "invented" this funnel stase mechanism a moment ago... I don't say that to claim that this is my idea and not yours or something, I really don't give a f*** about who got the idea first :p I just wanted to inform you that I already used this testing elements in some puzzles I made ;)
