Aeroth is Breton Destruction Mage who prefers Light Armor to Robes. He has perks that support his Destruction Spells as well as his Light Armor obsession. He comes with Dragonscale Armor in his inventory. Aeroth is marriageable and can not be killed. He can be found in the Frostfruit Inn in Rorikstead.

Aeroth will level with the player up to level 80 (his minimum is level 10).

I have removed his default bow and arrows so they won't accumulate in his inventory and I have increased his speed so he may better keep up while traveling with the player.

There's no quest to gain his allegiance and he doesn't want your gold, just tell him you need his help and he's yours.

I have two mods installed in my game that enhance character faces, but only one of them affects male characters. If you want Aeroth to look like the screen shot, you'll need that mod. The mod can be found on the Steam Workshop:

XCE: Xenius Character Enhancement by Xenius

PLEASE NOTE: If you have the Ultimate Follower Overhaul mod, you will need to make sure my followers load before the Ultimate Follower Overhaul mod in your data files. This may be true for any mod that alters followers in any way. Although my character mods are very basic, not all mods are compatible with each other. If you run into a situation where my character mod isn't operating properly, try re-ordering your mods in the data files, especially the ones that alter followers. If that fails, disable all mods that alter followers, enter the game, save and then exit. Then, re-enable one mod at a time until you find the conflict. You can then set my mod to load either before or after that mod. If it still doesn't work then, it's most likely a conflict that can not be resolved between the two mods and you'll need to unsub to one of them.

**Please remember to dismiss any modded follower before unsubbing or the game will continue to behave as if you have the follower. If that happens, you can reset the follower count in your game by bringing up the console by pressing the tilde (~) key while in the game, then type:

set playerfollowercount to 0

The press Enter, then press the tilde key again to close the console. You should be able to recruit another follower as that command tells the game you have zero followers.

LOL I'm a woman too. The fuglies in Skyrim are the reason I created the male followers. As far as the "dirty things", check the Nexus for mods. They might have what you're looking for. Thank Talos for mods! :D

Mmmmm..... he's one of the yummiest looking male players in the game. It's refreshing to see a mod developer that makes male followers as I am a woman who like playing female chracters and the men in Skyrim tend to be fugly. That's why in my last game I ended up going lesbo with my character (before I ever used mods) and married Jenessa, who, while is very fugly, was a bad ass companion. This time however, I am going to pick the hottest guy in the game and I do think that Aeroth may be the one. Now if there was only a mod that would let me do dirty things to him, I would be soooo happy. ; )

Thanks, for getting back so quickly. I never actually appointed a steward. All the followers I have except Aeroth give the option to become my steward or approch me and say they will do it. In reading various forums this is a bug in Hearthfire that appears on some followers. Just so happens to be on the one I want lol. I installed the unoffical patch hoping that would work, deleated Aeroth, resubscribed, etc. Oh well, he is a great mod and the problem I'm having is unrelated to your hard work. If anyone knows how to fix this bug let me know! Thanks again for the great followers you've given us.
