Ok, thanks for telling. I have been thinking about changing some things anyway and was toying around without applying anything in the end.

It's pretty easy to do actually. It's because the second plate launches you pretty slowly, and you lose your control in the air if you go too quickly. You can barely bend your trajectory off of the first one for this reason.

There's a "Suppress Air Control" thing on trigger_catapults in hammer, or you can adjust it to go faster in pti somehow.

Did you actually do that? I was under the impression that a wall mounted faith plate wouldn't allow the player to deflect him into another direction. An earlier draft had only one faith plate on the map and I introduced the second faith plate mounted to the wall for that very reason.

1. Get to the funnel room as normal, then use the box in there to turn off the fizzler. Pop a portal in that room while you're at it. 2. Jump on to the wall faith plate to get back over. 3. Grab the box on that side, bring it under the short fizzler and put it on the ledge where the exit is. Put the other portal there. 4. Go off of the near faith plate, and when you go off of the wall faith plate hold left like there's no tommorow. Try to land in the funnel room - solution should become obvious from there

tl;dr bend the fling off of the wall faith plate

Thanks for the clarification. It was of course deliberate to make the player think there's another purpose for it with the high faith plate trajectory. So you're perfectly entitled to think that it wasn't nice of me. :)

My bad. Went back in to see how I played this map. I did use them at almost the very end. But, at the beginning, I tried to use them for other puposes, which, of course, did not work.

But you have to fire at least once at those surfaces, so they do have a "purpose". ;)
Or did you find a way to not use that surface?
