Surfing the Stars

First of all, this game is astronomically great! See what I did there?

I've played Starbound a lot, and I still think this is one of the best 2D Side Scrolling games out there! I usually play offline, that's the reason I only have 45+ hours on it instead of like 70+ hours.

My Opinion on the Game

The variation of gameplay is truly amazing, for example, after collecting resources on a lush and lively planet, you return to your ship and head on over to a barren and lifeless wasteland of a planet to build yourself a new colony.

Sure, you might think that this is like any other game where you collect resources, craft, build, survive and repeat, but your wrong... Starbound gives you that warmth in your heart that no other game can. The expectation of finding a long lost temple with treasury yet to be discovered is what I mean, everyone likes to be the first ones here or there, but in Starbound... you can be the first one everywhere.

Score - 9.5/10

PS: I think it's my favourite game of all time...
