Spin rhythm is a quality game. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new rhythm game to scratch that itch.

The game plays very well and the controls are intuitive and largely engaging; Good pool of songs to play and set scores on...
At least, Base game wise.

I'd immediately like to point out that, while I believe there are currently 30 songs available,(Each with all difficulties from easy to XD where you'll spend all your time; Once you reach that difficulty of course) that small pool gets burned through quite fast if you're particularly focused on improving at the game.

At the minimum id definitely suggest you get Spinshare which allows you to download and share custom songs, as customs are where things get really interesting. they're also the main thing that keeps you interested in generally improving as well as playing the game for so many hours. but i suppose thats nitpicking since most rhythm games suffer from lack of longevity base game wise, unless their arcaea with its constant updates, or i believe something like dj-max with its continuous influx of dlc.

spin rhythm also has a bit of a unique accuracy bonus aside from just hitting everything on time as you accuracy in terms of ms provides additional scoring that is what mainly helps you rank on the Leaderboard; its really interesting in comparison to something like Osu! for example but the difficulties and skillsets are different.

It DOES however make a major difference on easier maps as while there are currently no modifiers in this game, perfect clears can score much higher than others as the players timing can net them a major bonus to their score, distinguishing their play from the rest. This is a really neat mechanic to me.

Rambling aside; this is a really good game currently, and only shows signs of improving so I'd definitely get it if your interested.

In all seriousness though, i consider the game to be a solid pick when its on sale, some of the issues like the constant clipping(if you've seen anything from this game you know what i mean) and the difficult-ai makes it a little too easy usually and without the ai its a little too rough at times so the balance is funky. bosses and enemies roaming the areas are skewed to either being way too easy or honestly just frustrating at times.- and a few other problems with animation keep me from recommending the game at full price.

overall, the game is good, it just feels like it lacks a sense of polish that would make it worth the 60$. If the polish ever does come around though, ill update the review for sure.

if you haven't bought this game you are lost, no offence.

a game with a ton of replayability by itself on top of having mod support through the mod-loader, its worth more than its price.

look at the other reviews, than look at mine.

ask yourself this, "why haven't i bought this game?".

loved it at first, then i realized how grindy and boring it can become, if you dont like sitting there for long periods just to go up one lvl, this is not for you. and it had so much potential too........

guns, guns, and more guns. include rolling and a bullet hell thats difficult as heck and you get this.
its extremely fun once you understand how things work, and has a good coop for a bud to jump in too.

first gun only runs for days xD

so much replayability its crazy, i reccomend this too anybody who plays games in general, its a real time spender.

good game.fun hack and slash especially when you have a party, the pvp is a little tricky but is really fun.careful of some classes though they can really wreck you and you wont get so much as a hit on them.
