I said ages ago how this game was pretty fun and a great 2D shooter, but honestly having another look at this game offline, it really isint that impressive compared to other shooters out there. Youll begin this game probably thinking that its pretty solid and fun, but after a hour or so its flaws jump out. The sound music and graphics arent very impressive where its sometimes quite hard to see enemy fire over the background.

The game tries to be a RPG with the 3 pilot classes which have their own skils. To level them up, you of course have to play the games missions. The biggest problem with this is that theres only one set of missions so once youve chosen one of the characters, its very unlikely that you will bother to play with the other two unless your going for 100%. Your required to unlock all the upgrades and ship parts for each character seperately which takes forever and is tedious becuase you find yourself having to replay the same missions over and over again to finally have the money to upgrade your ship which brings me onto the next point.

The upgrades do help but mostly feel useless. You feel like your ship is underpowered almost all the time where enemy ships have too much health and take forever to below up. The only reason you will really die in this game is because you can't kill the enemies fast enough. They will also keep coming so the screen just gets filled with bullets making it very hard to dodge anything. Of course your going to die if theres no room to dodge!

There is indeed a level editor if your looking for a bit more variety from the main missions, but they also contain the same problems as the games main missions do and your more likely to encounter levels that flat out lag your game due to enemy or bullet spam.

If you really really like space shooters then sure give it a try its your money, but if not then just avoid this one.
