This game s*cks in any term. It's not using the correct forbidden list, you can't choose between the lists. Card scripts are just not working as intented or bugged and many players abuse these. Not to mention, 95% of the players will FTK or OTK you, negate your summon, effects, Magic and Trap effects 2006841964165 times before you can make your move. Not to mention, sometimes 1 round takes 18 MINUTES to finish for my opponent, so he can set up the all negating field. We need bug and script fixes, all the banlists, round time limit, cuz all the net warriors running triple Maxx "C" and triple jet synchron, summoning monsters from nowhere because of bad scripting, summoning 15 minutes in a row. Right now, play it, if you can play with your friend(s), otherwise, it will give you a stroke 10 times a day.

Edit: All of the Net Warriors (aka PRO-s) running DPE in every single deck. All of Swordsoul noobs (they need free token to proceed) use Baron (<- reason why they noob, 1 card Baron for sure... Losers), they cant live without it. I didnt see a proper Swordsoul deck since release.

Konami, BAN VERTE and all the currently banned cards already, give us TCG list asap. Make the game region related, we dont need OCG ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here.

I play YGO since 2010 and this meta right now, its just a "bot" meta. 1-3 cards, bye.

Last but not least, it's missing alot of cards.

Another point of view: looks cool, effects, visuals are just excellent. This could be the game of the millenia, but with the mentioned problems, it's not.

Where i should start...

My friend spoke me on to buy this game. It looked cool, aight, its steam sale, what gonna happen. The game was fun UNTIL lv 30. After this, massive, brainless grinding for better weapons is started. I wait until i have 100+ hours, i dont want to rush this. But. After lv 30, the game is starting - they said. They're right. Go to Dark Zone (a.k.a. PvP Zone), grind. 95% of the players are cheaters. Rip. The game is not seperate the new players from the veteran ones. You cant report them without: hte cheaters name, a captured video about the scene (huh, everyone is just running obs in background?), and the time, when it happened. What is this?

Also the game is FULL with ingame exploits, which also kills the fun. Even the youtubers are made a video to how to use it LOL... why this was necessary? Regarding the youtubers: Personally i tried ALL of the builds what they offer. Those guys are nothing, playing againts noobs always. I got killed with 3-4-5 bullets with a classified nomad build, pls... You have no luck in DZ nowadays, forget it. Time for PvE.

The part when you fight againts NPC's kinda fun. But. No duck, no prone, just the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cover moves in the world. Life/armor/damage in both sides are stupid. NPC's dealing more and more damage, but you dont. Gearscore 290 and nothing can save you? WTF.

If you bought on steam, like me, rip, cuz uplay and steam will be necessary to run it. 2 progrmas for 1 game? Huh?

Another technical info:
I have better pc than the recommended requirements. Can't use the game setting on more than medium (what again?)

Normal prize is OVERRATED, should be 15£, with SP ofc, like when it was on sale.
Bugs
Unstable servers, sometimes desync like hell.

And this is a 2018's review, not an old one. Sure the game is better since the release, but come on, still a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ in it.

EDIT: Playing this thing solo is just bs, but with friends, randoms in group is manageable. Still not recommend it, but you can kill some time.4/10 atm.

It was cheap on kinguin, so i buyed it. 42 hours of play later - why? Game is still bs. After every "bigger" patch i give another change, but again, why? What you see in the trailers, do not dream of that cool running, This game still requers a nasa computer. I barely got 40 fps in low settings, however i have bigger pc that is recommend for it. Uninstalled. GG

Fix the game 1st, then add skins...

Masterpiece this game is, but it have some bad mk3-ish feeling.

Story / Single Player are good until medium difficulty. Hard and Very Hard bosses are annoying af (pointing Shinnok here). I can't enjoy the final fight(s). I can beat the towers at any difficulty, but on (and very) hard, i need to "continue" like 50 times, if i want to beat Shinnok. Ridiculous.

Second part is the "new" combatants. Why we need Alien, Predator, Jason and Leatherface? Okay, fun for single player, but in Ranked Matches, everyone just spam there most annoying skills. Bs, if you ask me. We could use some more characters, which are in the Story mode, but not playable.

Online matches: Nothing, only Ranked Matches and King of the Hill. If you can't beat at least the "Hard" Tower, do not go Online. Players online are playing like ESL boys. You need some experince before you jump in. Do not believe to the "Win Odds" meter. Even with 0% odds, you can win. And of course, you can lose with win odds 100%

Overall, as an MK fan, never better MK game.

P.S.: Gamepad extremely recommended. You can play via keyboard, but it's slower then gamepads.

10/10, if i not count shinnok's bs what he do.

Basic shooter for time killing. For 0.79£, not bad at all.

The game is awesome, realy good. Everyone is out of thier mind, cuz it's not MG. It is. It's after the Ground Zeroes. How about play the game a little. Then you guys have some sense about it? Without any clue, you guys just underestimate this game. No Hideo? Guys, he will take the money for the MG name...
Game is hard? Well, it's a survival game. I finished the story and around halfway i had EVERYTHING, i didn't need to go out hunting and gathering water. You level up as you make progress. Your life/stamina get even higher (less eating and drinking). Tired of poking the lances through fences? Go, grab any kind of weapon. Reach lvl 40, there are some subclasses.

SV coins:
Yes, it's real, it's there. Who cares? One save slot is MORE THAN ENOUGH. Don't need to spend money for supply boost. You can earn anything. What you can "unlock" with SV coins, you can find ingame.
also, you get SV coins for LOGGING IN.

Replenishing Oxygen:
Kill 3-4 wanderers, that's all. Later, you can build an Oxygen container, what you can put anywhere. It refills your tank about 10 times.

Can't deal with the zombies with normal fences? As mentioned above, go search better weapons (you can finish the game with normal fences tho).

AI's are not perfect, yet it's not totally dumb. Let's call the creatures as zombies. Like always, zombies going in the fastest route for reaching the point. Here is the same.

The game is totally worth it's prize. I won't lie here, the game is HARD at the start. Around halfway of the story, you will have no problems. Go and grab it and let's play in co-op.

I won a copy of this game. Man, this games rocks :D The visual, the music, the experience what u've get :D Very good againts boredom and/or if you have some anger inside you :D

Buy it, when its on discount, but dont miss it!

Time consuming, boredom killer driving game. I liked the 18 WoS games more than this, but hey trucks are just trucks! Take the long journey and have fun. Classic.

This game is a fine, great, incredible remake of our once beloved arcade games, MK I-II-III.
The Story Mode covers the first 3 MK games in one (hell yeah :D). So far the best MK game i've seen. (Counting here the PS2 ones to)

Working perfectly, no FPS drops. Nice graphics.

Cons, that i found so far:
- The cutscene videos is like a 640*480, mpeg video from the stone age, why they not use the game ingame graphics instead?
- Shao Kahn is a big-time cheater, like in the good ol' days, back in MK II and III.
- Besides the Alternate Costumes, you dont need to unlock anything usuable (since even hidden fatalitys are showed in Moves List)

Still the game is worth its prize (well, not 20 euro for sure, buy when its discounted)

Recommend for all MK fans!

Absolutely awesome game. As Single Player, it's to boring after some time, but playing with your friend(s), will give you the fun what you looking for. Nice graphics, music. Kinda a Diablo clone, but still has the feelings of its own.

Recommend for all players, who love this type of games.
