Very nice atmosphere and somewhat immersive world that tries its best to be historically accurate while maintaining an adventure aspect. However, a good mindset for this game is that you are not the protagonist, in that you do not have a lot of plot armor and you are not the legendary warrior (as opposed to in the elderscrolls/the witcher)

The game has a very steep learning curve for combat, and occasionally you will be forced into quite literally unwinnable battles. The combat mechanic forces you to lock on to one enemy and will continually rotate your camera to face them, meaning if you are attacked by another enemy from a different direction, you can not block, it also makes it impossible to try to turn away from an enemy and run, especially considering that almost every enemy will be able to run as fast as you and will catch you almost immediately. Additionally, since you play as a peasant-turned-adventurer you start the game with pretty much 0 combat skills, meaning enemies will be able to do a lot of attacks that you can not counter. The game also includes the possibility of random ambushes when fast traveling, meaning that with all of these different factors, it is entirely possible and almost certain that at some point you will find yourself facing a group of bandits/tartars in full plate armor, who will all rush you at once and wail on you with unblockable attacks from all sides (taking all your stamina and making it impossible to attack, block, or sprint) and will instantly stop you if you try to flee, and will not accept anything less than your death. This is compounded by the fact that the games only forms of saving (aside from exit saves) are completion of a quest objective or using an in game item to manually save. However, if you are able to eventually scrounge/steal/loot enough decent gear, and familiarize yourself with the combat, 1v1s are entertaining and provide a decent, but conquerable challenge.

The stats system is similar to that found in the elderscrolls series

Overall feels/plays like a realistic remake of chivalry medieval warfare, but with For Honor Style combat

Multiplayer is dead so good luck finding a game.
If you still want to spend $40 to enjoy the campaign good luck trying to get all the way through without encountering an impassable game breaking glitch. The campaign has so many glitches you might think it was made by Ubisoft not Dice.

This game is amazing because it is an accurate representation of our modern life. You start right after graduating highschool, you are an 18 year old male or female (unfortunately the game does not allow you to pick a third option), and you are very poor because you only have $250000, with this money you can either start a career or go to college, while college can sometimes land you a higher paying job, it unfortunately costs $100000, which subtracts from your final total. After any additional schooling is done, the game putters along just like real life, until marriage. At this point you are sent into a church and allowed to select either a male or female partner, from there you continue until you are given the option to return to college for an additional $100000 and select a new career, or continue on with your life. The next mile stone is the selection as to whether or not you want children, and this game is an obvious example of how abortion costs us money. Every abortion loses you $50k, and honestly, with the current state of the economy, we can't afford this. Things like this, is why China is winning the trade war, unless everyone has as many kids as possible, our way of life will be extinguished. Once you have acquired as many kids as will fit in your car (a house is optional when raising 7 children with your partner), you continue on until you reach the cross roads of life, here the choice comes down to the risky road or the safe road, the safe road will continue in the monotony of life (random world cruises, law suits, winning $100000 in a pie eating contest, and other ordinary events) or you can take the risky road for a high risk/ high reward. From the risky road, you go home to retirement, which location you and your 27 infants choose to go to, will have no outcome on the end of the game. In addition, if you do not tell me your favorite flavor of ice cream, you are legally obligated to give me $7000.

Very fun game with almost endless possibilites you can download (free) game modes like hide and seek, trouble in terrorist town, murder, prop hunt, and other fun games, as well as fun addons in sandbox like guns, helicopters and other fun and stupid stuff. Very worth the price and runs with little to no FPS lag. (unless you set off a dozen nuclear bombs at once)
